==Plot==
SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy are making sandcastles at Goo Lagoon when Sandy gets homesick. She walks off, while SpongeBob tries to cheer her up. SpongeBob and Patrick blindfold her and take her to her tree dome, but Sandy knows this is not her real home.

SpongeBob and Patrick realize that Sandy's from Texas, and decide to bring some Texas to Bikini Bottom to cheer up Sandy. Sandy wants to leave Bikini Bottom and go back to Texas, but SpongeBob and Patrick have a surprise for her at the Krusty Krab. Failing to convince her to go to the Krusty Krab, Patrick shouts after the bus which Sandy just boarded, saying "What's so great about dumb old Texas, anyway?"

Sandy comes back and yells "Don't you dare take the name of Texas in vain!" Patrick then insists upon saying people from Texas are dumb. Sandy becomes even angrier and says that they "can't say nothing about Texas". This gives SpongeBob a brilliant idea. He and Patrick start insulting Texas in order to distract Sandy, and so she angrily chases them on a homicidal rampage. They hope to reach the Krusty Krab before Sandy catches them. Patrick continuously insults Texas, thinking Sandy is too slow to catch up to them, only so that both of them realize that Sandy ''is'' catching up, and fast.

While they're running as fast as they possibly can a lasso is thrown up on top of Patrick, pulling him back. Patrick suddenly exclaims" Ah! SpongeBob!", as a nuclear explosion in the background lets out. SpongeBob still hoping to reach the Krusty Krab is both screaming and running. Sandy then lassos SpongeBob’s arm, while he has firm grasp of the door with his other hand. While Sandy is tugging on the rope, SpongeBob tears the door knob off, taking the front of the Krusty Krab with him. Where the party shouts "Howdy ya’ll!", and Sandy decides that she's been home all along. But then, Patrick shouts "Yeah, who needs dumb old Texas?" Sandy gets angry once again, and Patrick asks "Should I start running now?"

==Plot==
At the beach, Plankton is devising another diabolical scheme. He is planning to turn the beach into the future site of a mega-sized Chum Bucket. However, he needs everyone to leave the beach. No-one listens to him, and accidentally stomp all over him. Plankton decides to trick SpongeBob into being "assertive" in order to get the things that he (Plankton) wants. At first it does not work so well, as SpongeBob is naturally kind and naive. But then he does listen to Plankton and with rude behavior such as stealing everyone's hot dogs and popping a volleyball, everyone leaves the beach. SpongeBob is upset by this and then discovers that Plankton was using him. So he becomes "aggressively nice" by giving back everyone's hot dogs and turning into a volleyball himself. Plankton leaves the beach disgusted by the cuteness of it all.

He begins the day with playing a prank to his snail, Gary (who cries because he does not know it is April Fools Day and the joke involves killed mollusks (Crushed Clam shells)...which Gary ''is''), then goes to work. Squidward, annoyed by the laughing, looks at the calendar. He is shocked and surprised that it is April Fools Day, and calls Mr. Krabs saying he is sick. Mr. Krabs says that there is some person in his office who wants to sell Squidward's art. Squidward immediately rushes to his office, only to find that it was a prank. Squidward resigns, but gets his job back after being persuaded by SpongeBob.

SpongeBob is then constantly doing pranks with his tongue, and his laughs really annoy Squidward. Therefore, Squidward does a prank on him. He gets a blob of mustard in the middle of a lasso. SpongeBob goes to clean it up, and the lasso closes on his leg. Squidward chops a nearby rope, which sends SpongeBob flying around getting seriously hurt. Squidward laughs hard out, while SpongeBob cries and runs away to his house. The customers aren't happy with Squidward around, so they leave, one of them yelling, "April Fools, JERK!". Squidward has to apologize, but he cannot say he is sorry. He thinks of other ways to apologize to SpongeBob, but all do not work until he decides to apologize after remembering what happened.

==Plot==
At the fry cook museum, SpongeBob and Patrick are amazed by everything. They see a greasy griddle with a golden spatula embedded in the grease. On it is a plaque, which says "Many have tried to pull this spatula out of this ancient grease, but all have failed. Only a fry cook worthy of King Neptune himself can wield the [[Golden Spatula]]". While SpongeBob is posing for a picture with the spatula, an old lady asks him "Do you know where the menu section is?" SpongeBob replied "It's over that way." But when he was pointing to where the menu section was, he unexpectedly pulled the spatula out. Shortly afterwards, King Neptune appeared from a cloud of smoke. He asks who pulled out the spatula, and SpongeBob takes credit. [[Image:Atlantis Palace.JPG|thumb|right|Neptune's Palace in Atlantis]] King Neptune however sees SpongeBob as "unsignificant" and does not want to believe SB is his fry cook. Neptune asks people such as Patrick, a hot dog seller, Larry the Lobster etcetera if they pulled the spatula but they tell the fact that SpongeBob did it.

Neptune laughs all these witnesses off but eventually gets impatient and tries to make up several fake excuses on why SpongeBob should not be a royal fry cook. Eventually when Patrick gets into the argument between SpongeBob and Neptune, the king loses his temper and blasts Patrick with his magic. Neptune finally realizes that SpongeBob is not kidding on pulling the spatula and asks SpongeBob if he wants to take a burger-making competition to prove he is worthy. Patrick however foolishly argues with the king about how great SpongeBob is and in return Neptune repeatedly blasts Patrick until he is a smear of ash and smoke. SpongeBob agrees to the challenge under the condition that Neptune repairs Patrick (Neptune agrees but his magic ends up putting Patrick's face on Patrick's rear side). Neptune then tells Patrick and SpongeBob that if SpongeBob wins he goes to live with Neptune in his faraway kingdom; Atlantis as a royal fry cook and if he loses SpongeBob must resign his career as a fry cook permanently and unconditionally.

At the Atlantis stadium the Poseidome, [[Mr. Krabs]] is hired as the director/announcer of the competition and makes Neptune and SB agree that the winner must make 1000 patties before the other. Neptune uses his magic to make burger fixings, his cooking supplies etcetera while SpongeBob makes a Krabby Patty at a normal pace. Eventually Neptune makes 1000 patties by the time SB makes his first one causing Neptune to win. Neptune however is disqualified because when giving the audience his burgers they chew them and instantly find them disgusting; Neptune did not show love onto the patties before giving them which makes them taste awful. Neptune finally accepts his loss and decides to try SpongeBob's patty which is proven delicious. King Neptune hires SpongeBob as his fry cook, apologizes for his disbelief but tells SpongeBob that the only cost for living in Atlantis as a god is that he must leave his friends, possessions and home behind him as he lives in comfort at the palace. SpongeBob however later decides that he does not want to leave and when Neptune's attempts to make SpongeBob into a god like him, fail, SpongeBob offers Neptune a compromise where SpongeBob will teach Neptune how to make his own good Krabby Patties to be his own fry cook but under the condition that SpongeBob will be allowed to remain in Bikini Bottom and only visit Atlantis on occasion.

*The Poseidome is taken from Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. Neptune is the Roman god of the sea.
*The whole spatula in the "ancient grease" is a reference to the Arthurian legend of Excalibur, or the sword in the stone in which whoever pulls the sword from the stone would become the King of England. Also, the fact that it's called "ancient grease" can be seen as a play on Ancient Greece (The Ancient Roman god Neptune and his Greek counterpart, Poseidon, do not seem to be distinguished in this episode.)

==Plot==
The day (June 23, 2020) starts off quite well for Squidward. He is about to practice his [[Clarinet]] when SpongeBob's alarm clock (facing out the window) knocks the clarinet inside Squidward's mouth, and SpongeBob asks Squidward if he wants to go jellyfishing. Squidward tries to reply, but because his clarinet is in his mouth, anything he says is incomprehensible, and SpongeBob thinks he said "yes". After Squidward takes his clarinet out of his mouth, Squidward is constantly bothered in his house by SpongeBob and Patrick who want to go jellyfishing with him. Squidward, in an attempt to stop SpongeBob and Patrick bothering him, tells SpongeBob that he should be at work, but SpongeBob tells him that it is a Sunday, and the Krusty Krab is closed on Sundays.

Squidward tells SpongeBob and Patrick to stay where they are, and goes out the back door of his house and goes into the Krusty Krab. He sees SpongeBob and Patrick looking for him, and goes into the kitchen. SpongeBob and Patrick are still looking for him, so he goes into the freezer. After SpongeBob and Patrick go away, Squidward is frightened to find that the handle is jammed, and that he is stuck inside the freezer. He assures himself that someone will find him.

Unfortunately, this is not true and 2000 years later (on June 23, 4020) , the door falls down and a frozen Squidward is defrosted by 'SpongeTron', a descendant of SpongeBob. Squidward finds out that everything in the future (ecept for people) is made entirely of chrome, and all organic life forms that aren't people (such as seaweed or kelp) are simply spray-painted chrome. SpongeTron introduces Squidward to his clones; X, Y, and Z. SpongeTron informs Squidward that there are ''486'' SpongeTrons in response to the the question asked by Squidward "Are the other letters of the alphabet involved, here?", meaning that the English alphabet has been expanded, merged with another character set, or (most likely) it was hyperbole by the animators to make the future more complex. Squidward decides that he hates the future, so SpongeTron directs him to a time machine, which is actually a small room with a control panel. Squidward uses the time machine (shortly after meeting Patron, a two-headed descendant of Patrick) to travel to the prehistoric past, ripping the entire room out of the building in the process.

He meets Primitive Sponge and Prehistoric Starfish, whom are the ancestors of SpongeBob and Patrick. Squidward tells them about jellyfishing because they keep on torturing themselves with jellyfish. They seem to be interested, but are driven crazy by Squidward's clarinet, and chase after him. He goes into the time machine, but it malfunctions, and he goes to a very strange place with abstract shapes and no characters or setting (it is possibly an alternate universe, another dimension, or a time warp, but Squidward calls it 'nowhere'). After he finds the time machine, he begs it to return to the present, which it does, but Squidward finds out that in his travels, he invented jellyfishing. The episode ends when Squidward says "I'm going back."

*The episode, which arises from Squidward time traveling and inventing the game of jellyfishing while seeking to avoid SpongeBob and Patrick as they want him to jellyfish with them, is an example of a time paradox known as a casual loop, in which a person is inspired or driven by an event to time travel and, whether or not intentionally, causes the event which will facilitate their initial time traveling trip.

Plankton tries to make SpongeBob say the Krabby Patty formula including arranging names of common kitchen ingredients, but not all methods work.
