==Plot==
SpongeBob reads a scary book before bedtime. When he and Gary go to sleep, SpongeBob gets afraid in the dark. The next day he goes to work, whenever he sees darkness including blinking he over reacts to it. Mr. Krabs told him to buy a night light. All is well until he discovered the other rooms inside his house still covered by the darkness and then he rushed back to the store and bought some more lights. Patrick moves in to SpongeBob's house because he is scared of the dark but makes a hole in the wall letting in all of the darkness. SpongeBob and Patrick buy all sorts of light, probably stole some as well. This caused Squidward to wake up. One light has an M on it alerting Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. They find out there is no danger until a moth comes which Mermaid Man has been searching 57 years. SpongeBob traps it but it flies away with the top of his house. At the time that is now morning, Patrick runs to the sun for more light, but unfortunately there is too much of it and run back to earth.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*[[Mark Hamill]] guest voices.
*Tom Kenny's face appeared when Mr. Krabs asked SpongeBob asked to go in the freezer.
*It took less than a minute for Patrick to reach the sun. The sun is 93,000,000 miles away, and would take years to reach it and go back to earth. This moment should have a time card to fit this situation, just like [[Squid on Strike]].
*When Patrick went to get the big ball of light, which was the sun, he come running back on fire. However, it is impossible to have your body on fire if you are underwater.
*SpongeBob's house is shown to be several times larger than usual.
*In this episode, marks the first time Mermaid Man ever addresses SpongeBob by his name because usually they will call him kid.
*This is the second time SpongeBob and Patrick have a sleepover.

==Plot==
Squidward competes against SpongeBob and Patrick in a dance contest. Squidward did not make it to the finals, contrary to his expectations, but SpongeBob and Patrick do. They ask Squidward how he did, but he lies that he is so great, he's been banned from the competition. SpongeBob and Patrick ask him to be their mentor. While teaching them, Squidward ends up inside SpongeBob. He then decides to control every move that SpongeBob will supposedly do.

On the day of the competition, Squidward made the crowd silent, they think it was really horrible but at the end the people loved it. SpongeBob then won, but is disqualified when the judges discovered Squidward was inside of him. The judges try to find someone who did not cheat. They found out only Patrick did not cheat. Patrick wins the competition because he was the only one who did not cheat.

*[[Mr. Krabs]] does not appear in "Slimy Dancing." But he does appear in the epilogue.
*This is the second time that [[Patrick]] has won a trophy by default.

==Plot==
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are holding up the line at the Krusty Krab, trying to decide what to order. Finally, Mermaid Man orders a Krabby Patty and a Pipsqueak (child's) Patty for Barnacle Boy. Barnacle Boy demands an adult-sized burger, claiming that since he is very old, he should no longer be treated as a child. But when Mermaid Man and the Krusty Krab patrons begin to tease him, Barnacle Boy breaks his friendship with Mermaid Man and joins Man Ray and the Dirty Bubble to form a villainous group known as E.V.I.L. (Every Villain is Lemons).

Mermaid Man cannot defeat this new threat on his own, and he recruits SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Sandy to reform the International Justice League of Super Acquaintances (They were going to order pizza but Mermaid Man falls down). They attack E.V.I.L. at a teenage gathering spot called Make out Reef. Despite numerous advantages, the incompetent Super Acquaintances defeat themselves. SpongeBob was defeated by Squidward and defeats Patrick. Mermaid Man mistakes Squidward for SpongeBob and washes him up(water is the weakness of fire).Sandy defeats herself by not noticing the boat behind her coming to hit her off the cliff.

Having "defeated" the heroes, Barnacle Boy demands three things of Mermaid Man: That he be treated as a superhero, and not a sidekick; that he is called "Barnacle Man"; and that he be allowed to eat an adult-sized Krabby Patty. He then immediately rejoins the side of good, though when the heroes return to the Krusty Krab, Barnacle Boy admits that he cannot eat an entire Krabby Patty. Everyone laughs throughout the ending (the gang, ManRay, Dirty Bubble, and the chief).

*This episode parodies the Justice League and the Super Friends. Each member of the IJLSA is a send-up of a well-known superhero: the [[Elastic Waistband]] (Patrick) is a parody of Mr. Fantastic, [[Captain Magma]] (Squidward) is a parody of the Human Torch, [[Miss Appear]] (Sandy) is a parody of the Invisible Woman, and [[The Quickster]] (SpongeBob) is a parody of The Flash.

==Plot==
Every student in the Boating School is complaining when Mrs. Puff tells them the homework they have to do. SpongeBob is excited because they have to write an essay about what not to do at a stoplight with a very permanent minimum of 800 words. Mrs.Puff tells the students to work hard and not goof off. SpongeBob decides to not goof off and focuses on the paper. First, he thinks that it is easy because he is writing the title of: ''What Not To Do At A Stoplight, By SpongeBob SquarePants.''

For three hours, SpongeBob realizes that it is harder than he thinks. He looks outside the window to see that everyone else is having a carnival, Gary is playing the horn, and Patrick is massaging Sandy (without her air suit but helmet). SpongeBob decides to be distracted by doing the Hup-Two. His nose does it, then his eyebrows do it. Then, he scoots his chair back and forth all the time. When Gary ''meows'' and SpongeBob decides to feed him. SpongeBob gives him a mountain of dinner, but Gary is able to finish it all in one bite. SpongeBob wants to give him Chocolate Algae Bits (dessert), and then steps on the leftover food that Gary has made a mess on.

SpongeBob decides to clean the kitchen, and then the house is very shiny. However, it is now 10 p.m. and SpongeBob thinks that he is doing it by decorating a very simple font of the word ''the''. SpongeBob tries to think about what the other 799 words should be. Then, he calls Patrick about sleeping, and Patrick tells him that he is only calling him
to not do his essay. SpongeBob is angry, and they end the phone call with a Marco Polo. Then, SpongeBob calls him a chatterbox.

Soon, he finds some pencil shavings, and he brushes them off, but accidentally swallows one. He rushes to get some sink water and then becomes hungry for a sandwich. The mailman gives him a package, and SpongeBob talks to him about how the mailman can get his own mail and P.O. boxes. Then, the mailman tells him he has a essay to write. SpongeBob is worried and is spied on by the Realistic Fish Head on the TV saying he only has a few hours to write his essay. SpongeBob chops the TV, and then the chair becomes real. The desk is running away from him, and his ``Pants!!!'' escape him and run outside. The Gary-alarm clock tells him, "Time's Up SpongeBob!", and a fire is lit up, burning up the essay and puts SpongeBob's house on fire. The house becomes real too, and makes him wake off from his dream saying, "Stop wasting time!!!!"

It is then revealed that it was a dream, so he wakes up, and it appears to be morning, and he realizes that it is 8:55 a.m. and class will start in 5 minutes! Then, SpongeBob gets all the answers by his dream, such as feeding a snail, making a sandwich, calling a friend, talking to a mailman, karate-chopping the TV, and etc. SpongeBob then runs to Boating School, but Mrs. Puff tells him that there wasn't any homework, and he didn't have to do it. Mrs. Puff decided to make a field trip to a stoplight, and she has to go to a teacher convention. SpongeBob rips the essay, and he is ripped in half by himself as well.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*Everything in between when SpongeBob says "This is harder than I thought" and "I can feel those juices pumping now!" were later removed due to the fact that it was tought that kids would emulate the "car crashing" scene that occurs when SpongeBob says that he'll finally have a license. However, why they couldn't have just cut out that scene and left everything else in is a mystery.
*Gary is able to eat the entire food without his upper lip reaching at the top of the food. This is very impossible.
*SpongeBob uses another sponge like him to wash the dishes instead of him.
*Gary eats his food bowl too, a reference to the comic strip Garfield.

==Plot==
Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob and Squidward that if they learn the names of all who dine at the Krusty Krab, will win a prize. SpongeBob lists every customer who visited in a book and then Squidward then tried to steal it from him. Squidward then approaches Mr. Krabs and ask if he won unfortunately he isn't keeping track of the score. Mr. Krabs tells them, if they could know the name of the very last costumer. When Squidward asks him for his name, he says "What Zit Tooya". Squidward taught he meant, "What's it to ya" Squidward stole his driver's license, only to discover the guy's name is Mr. What Zit Tooya. The police haul Squidward off to jail, where he's nevertheless convinced he will get out in ten years and go on a fabulous ocean liner cruise. While there, Mr. Krabs arrives to tell him otherwise: he's only won a brochure. Squidward taught he could at least have some peace and quiet unfortunately his cellmate is Patrick.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*According to Squidward's calendar that was in prison, the episode took place in November.
*In this episode, the blonde fish's name was Suzie Fish, but in other episodes it was Nancy which is her usual name.
*The ending of "Good Ol' Whathisname" is very similar to [[SpongeBob Meets the Strangler]].
*You cannot be sent to prison for 10 years just for stealing a wallet and running a stoplight.
*Squidward says that he has only 364 days and 9 years left, but he made a grammar error of the English language.

'''Ned and the Needlefish''' is a popular band in [[Bikini Bottom]] and it is loved by many. It consists of Ned and the other people's names are not known although they are referred to as the Needlefish. Their only appearance so far is [[Wigstruck]].

Ned is a kind guy but he got angry when the needlefish stole [[Ned's Wig|his Wig]]. The needlefish seem quite cheeky but Ned is more serious. The band was almost closed when they arrived at [[Bigshot Records]] and Ned did not have hair or a wig. All was well luckily.

===Band popularity and appeal===
Ned and the Needlefish tour around the whole Pacific Ocean, attracting big crowds. Ned and the needlefish we're touring around Bikini Bottom. The bands looks are sort of laid back ripped shirt style. Ned has a peace sign around his necklace and they could support it too. Ned also loves his wig and eventually when he got it back, everyone loved it. When SpongeBob had the wig everyone hated it. They all wore blue pants, and they were not very tall.

==Plot==
SpongeBob and Patrick board a bus to get home from [[Glove World]], a glove-themed amusement park, they have apparently gotten on the wrong one and head off a large cliff. The cliff leads to a sort of aphotic zone called [[Rock Bottom (City)|Rock Bottom]], inhabited by anglerfish-like creatures. Patrick gets on a bus home but accidentally leaves SpongeBob behind. After several unsuccessful attempts to get on the bus, he heads to the bus station and gets in a very long line. By the time he gets to the front, he finds out that the last bus to leave for the night is already gone, and he's stuck there until morning. He gets scared by a raspberry sound coming from nowhere, and he dashes back to the cliff. The raspberry sound's maker reveals himself to be a friendly-looking anglerfish creature, which has SpongeBob's balloon from Glove World. The creature blows up the balloon, ties it to SpongeBob's wrist, and allows him to float up the cliff and back to [[Bikini Bottom]]. Unfortunately, Patrick thinks SpongeBob is still in Rock Bottom and goes back; causing bad luck for Patrick!

==Trivia/Goofs==
* When SpongeBob looks at the vending machine, it is facing him. But when he is choosing the candy he wants, it is facing the opposite side of the road that is at a 90 degree angle.
* As the bus carrying SpongeBob and Patrick descends down the cliff face, the dramatic incidental music is from the song "Whirlpool", performed by the Detroit, Michigan surf band, The Volcanoes.
* When SpongeBob told Patrick "50¢", Patrick said "Nope" (he does not even have that much money). Regular closed captions excluded Patrick's line, and it is a little hard to hear it.

SpongeBob: (Patrick is licking a glove-sickle) Another fantastic day at Glove World. (bus stops at the bus stop and both of them get in but SpongeBob struggles for a bit with his balloon)

Bus Driver: Ahem. (points to coin deposit)

SpongeBob: Let me get my wallet. (turns around and balloon hits bus driver in face) Wait, let me check this pocket. (turns around and balloon hits him again) No... (turns around and balloon hits bus driver again) Patrick do you have any change?

Patrick: How much do you need?

SpongeBob: How much is it?

Bus Driver: Fifty-cents.

SpongeBob: (turns around and balloon smacks bus driver in the back of the head) Fifty-cents.

Patrick: Nope.

SpongeBob: (turns around and balloon smacks bus driver again) Lemme check my other po...

Bus Driver: Forget it!

SpongeBob: (turns around and balloon smacks bus driver again) What did you say?

Bus Driver: Just take your seat!

SpongeBob: Thanks, mister.

Bus Driver: Yeah, whatev... (SpongeBob turns around and balloon smacks him in the back of the head. Bus driver gets angry)

Patrick: Show me what you got at glove world.

SpongeBob: Ok! Here's my glove light. (turns on light)

Patrick: Wow...

SpongeBob: (puts light inside his head) I see you! (both laugh)

Patrick: I got gloves for my glove action-figure! (puts a tiny glove on the big gloves thumb)

SpongeBob: Cool! (Patrick looks out the window and notices a sign that says "You Are Now LEAVING Bikini Bottom" as they drive past it)

Patrick: Hey, SpongeBob?

SpongeBob: (a tiny glove is on his nose) Yeah, Patrick?

Patrick: Where's 'Leaving Bikini Bottom'?

SpongeBob: Where did you see that?

Patrick: We just passed the sign. 'You are now in leaving Bikini Bottom'.

SpongeBob: (gasps) What? (looks out the window)

Patrick: What's wrong SpongeBob? (driving past a sign that says "Bikini Bottom City Limits")

SpongeBob: Patrick, I think we're on the wrong... (both scream as bus drives down at a 90-degree angle road. SpongeBob and Patrick fly back and his the back of the bus) ...bus. (SpongeBob walks slowly up front. His face gets all distorted as he is moving closer. His pants rip off and fly at Patrick but Patrick ducks in time. Then SpongeBob’s underwear hits Patrick in the face. Bus comes to an immediate stop and both fly forward and hit the windshield. Then the balloon smacks the bus driver onto the windshield and all of them peel off. SpongeBob & Patrick are kicked off the bus) But sir, we need to get back to Bikini Bottom.

Bus Driver: (hands balloon to SpongeBob) Oh, well.
(drives bus away)

Patrick: Where is this, SpongeBob?

SpongeBob: (reads sign) Rock Bottom. (scroll over to a bus station) It sure is weird around here. Kinda different and the soil looks different. (picks up some green soil)

Green Soil: Do you... (raspberry) mind... (raspberry) putting me down?
(SpongeBob shakes him off)

Patrick: SpongeBob, I don't like it here. It's dark and scary. I don't wanna be here. I wanna go home. Look, I can't even tell the bathrooms apart. (bathroom doors have the ? on one door and the ¿ on the other)

SpongeBob: Uhh, that's an easy one, Patrick. We just wait for somebody to come out and then you'll know. (someone comes out the ¿ door. Patrick gasps) Maybe we should wait for one more. (a snake-like creature comes out of the ? door. 3 creatures come out the ¿ door)

Patrick: I still can't read the signs. I wanna go home.

SpongeBob: Uhh, uhh, ok. You wait for the bus. Call me when it comes and I'm gonna get a bus schedule. (walks off) Boy, this place sure is creepy. (bus drives by with Patrick's head sticking out the window)

Patrick: Hey, SpongeBob, the bus is here. (SpongeBob runs after the bus) SpongeBob...! (bus drives up the 90-degree angle road and SpongeBob tries to run up the road but falls down. Tries a couple more times but fails)

SpongeBob: I guess Grandpa SquarePants was right. Don't run for a bus. (puts on Grandpa disguise) Especially one that's going up at a 90-degree angle. (takes off disguise) I better go wait for the next one. (later, SpongeBob is standing by the bus stop sign with his glove balloon in his right hand) C'mon, bus. I've got to get home and feed Gary. (notices shoe untied and lets go of the balloon) Uh-oh, shoe's untied. Puts foot on bus sign) Over, under, and over, and loopdy-loop, and over... (bus drives up and then drives off) and through the hole. (later, wind is blowing SpongeBob’s glove hat on his side so he puts it back. Wind blows balloon away) My balloon! (chases after balloon jumping for it when he gets the chance. A bus drives up and then drives off) Wait! Hold on! Stop that bus. Aww, not again! (throws hat down. Notices a creature with a red light on his head for an antenna) Umm, excuse me, sir. Can you help me? (gives raspberry) Uhh, uhh, yeah, I... (creature runs after balloon) No, no! Not the balloon! I need to know what time the next bus comes... (bus drives up and then drives off. SpongeBob runs after it but decides to walk back to the bus stop sign) Well, there goes another one. I gotta be more diligent. I am not leaving this spot, no matter what. SpongeBob’s stomach growls) I'm gettin' hungry. (snaps fingers) Glove candy dispenser. Good thing I went to glove world. (squeezes out 6 tiny glove candies onto his tongue then spits them out) Eww, glove flavored. Hey, what's that? (a kandy machine is shown across the road) A kandy machine. Mmm, kelp nougat crunch. (Checks each side of the road to see if a bus is coming) I'm not leaving this spot, no matter what! (stomach growls) I'll only be gone a second. (runs over to the machine. While getting out a quarter, a bus drives up. Runs back across to buss) Hey! (bus drives off) Ooh!! (stomach growls. Takes a few steps across the road and turns around to check for the bus. Takes a few more steps and checks again. Gets to the kandy machine and takes out the quarter. Before inserting it, he checks for a bus. There's no bus so he puts in the quarter but a bus DOES come and drives off. Now he checks to his left down the road and decides to sprint across and get some candy. Pushes some buttons and checks for the bus. The kandy is slowly coming down) Come on, come on! (kandy drops to the bottom. SpongeBob grabs for it but a bus drives up and then drives off. SpongeBob gets angry. He reaches for the kandy but a bus comes up. Every time he reaches for the kandy, the bus drives forward but when he pulls his arm away, the bus drives backwards. So he decides to leave the kandy and run after the bus, but the bus drives off before he can get there. A creature comes up and takes the kandy) Hey, that was mine! (walks over to the kandy machine. 3 busses drives up and drive off while he's over there so he decides to run back. No more busses come so he shakes the bus sign) Barnacles! Alright, that's it. No more mister nice guy. (later, SpongeBob is at the kandy machine staring at it and a bus drives up. Another SpongeBob tip-toes up but the SpongeBob at the kandy machine falls over revealing it to be made of wood. The bus drives off) Tartar sauce!! (SpongeBob is now a bench. A bus drives up but drives off after it notices the SpongeBob bench) Fish paste! (walking into the bus station) I'm getting to the bottom of this, right now! I want a bus to Bikini Bottom. I am first in line and no one is going to tell me, otherwise! (sees a giant green round creature standing behind him already in line) Ok, second. I am second in line. (sees another giant creature already in line) Ok, third is good. (another creature is already in line) Fourth, not bad. Cut to SpongeBob at the end of the line behind a yellow creature) Ok, 329. I am 329th in line and nobody forget it. (yellow creature spits out a giant egg on SpongeBob’s head with the number 329 on it)

Window Attendant: Next. (raspberry)

SpongeBob: Well, at least the line is moving. (everyone steps forward. Egg hatches 3 baby yellow creatures that jump in front of SpongeBob. SpongeBob hides inside his clothes and goes ballistic. Then comes out and everyone staring at him turns around)

Window Attendant: (time is going fast) (raspberry) Next. (raspberry) Next. (raspberry) Next. (raspberry) Next. Next...

SpongeBob: Finally! Yes, I'm next! (runs up to the window) When is the next bus to Bikini Bottom?

Window Attendant: What? (raspberry)

SpongeBob: The bus schedule. The next bus.

Window Attendant: I can't... (raspberry) understand... (raspberry) your accent. (raspberry)

SpongeBob: Duh, next bus... (raspberry) to Bikini... (raspberry) Bottom. (long raspberry)

Window Attendant: Ohh. (raspberry) Why didn't you say so? (raspberry) Next bus leaves in... (raspberry) 5 seconds. (bus leaves) Ohh, tough luck, kid. (raspberry) That's the last one til' morning. (raspberry)

SpongeBob: Oh, (raspberry) no... (raspberry) you don't. (raspberry)

Window Attendant: Goodnight! (puts closed sign up)

SpongeBob: Hold it, I'm not through here! (raspberry) Do you hear me? (raspberry) I demand you come back and give me a bus to Bikini Bottom, right now. And until then I am not leaving this spot. (gives 3 raspberries. Lights turn off. SpongeBob laughs nervously) Ok, like I said, I'll be right here when you get back. At this spot. In the dark. By myself. With no one around. Except my glove light! (turns on light) Ah, that's better. (glove light stops working) This isn't your average everyday darkness. This is...advanced darkness. Hey, if I close my eyes it doesn't seem so dark. (closes eyes. Hears a raspberry in the distance so he opens his eyes) Who's there? (walks down the road) Well, I guess that spot will be there tomorrow. I better just keep walking. (hears another raspberry) Running! Better start running! Running! (hears another raspberry) Sprinting! I just gotta keep sprinting! (runs into the 90-degree angle road. Sits down with scallops flying around his head) Sitting, sitting. Bleeding. (hears noise) Hey, who's there? (hears another raspberry) Ok, that's enough. (hears another raspberry) Don't come closer. (hears another raspberry) I'm warning you! (hears another raspberry) I'm a sponge! (a red light shines around SpongeBob. It's the creature from before that chased after the balloon) Oh, it's only you. (creature ties balloon to SpongeBob’s left wrist) Well, that solves my balloon problem, but I have a bigger problem. (creature begins blowing balloon bigger) I'm kinda stuck here. I need to catch a bus to get home. You don't understand a word I'm saying, do you? Balloon... (raspberry) has... (raspberry) enough... (raspberry) air... (raspberry) thanks. (gives a few more raspberries as he is floating up) Hey, I get it, balloon travel. Thank... (raspberry) you! (raspberry)

SpongeBob: (floats back down in front of his house) Ah, home at last.

In the [[Krusty Krab]], SpongeBob is making Number five's order, and when he is finished, he gives it to [[Squidward]] so that he can give it to the fifth customer. The fifth customer is revealed to be SpongeBob, who grabs the order, and eats it. Meanwhile, outside the Krusty Krab, [[Mr. Krabs]] calls SpongeBob to go to his 'Hidey Hole', where he keeps his old Navy stuff in a treasure chest. They drag it into Mr. Krabs' office. Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob about the Navy reunion and also tells him about his old Navy buddies and his nickname "Armor Abs Krabs". After he has heard all about the Navy, SpongeBob goes to the kitchen to get it in "shipshape." After a few minutes, he makes a perfect Krabby Patty. Meanwhile, Mr. Krabs molts his shell, leaving him a fleshy pink mess, and very fat and not strong. With his exoskeleton still intact, he puts SpongeBob in it and tells him to go to the reunion, and take Mr. Krabs' identity.

When he gets there, he almost reveals his identity by telling a jellyfishing and bubble-blowing story. So he goes to leave, but an old Navy friend of Mr. Krabs (Torpedo-belly) wants to do a body-slam, to test if he still has "armor abs". When he punches SpongeBob, he flies around the room, cracking the exoskeleton, revealing SpongeBob. When they get angry, the real Mr. Krabs pops out (he was watching from the bush the whole time) and reveals himself. He then talks about how he is still the same person even though he is what he is now. It then turns out everyone has had a drastic change of themselves. For example, [[Torpedo Belly]] had his torpedo removed. [[Mr. Krabs]] is still fleshy, pink, and fat, but he tells SpongeBob that his shell will grow back.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*This episode was originally titled "Molting".
*This episode is very similar to The Fairly Odd Parents episode, "Truth or Cosmoquences".
*Mr. Krabs had no nose when he was out of his old shell. His shell did not have it either. Somehow his nose disappeared when he molted.
*When SpongeBob spits out his skeleton, his teeth are both in the skeleton and still in his mouth, not that he should have any of those things, as he is a sponge.
*When Mr. Krabs molts, his shell does not have eyes or a nose. However, in the SpongeBob comic in [[Nickelodeon]] Magazine for October 2006, Mr. Krabs molts and his shell looks just like him.
*Before Mr. Krabs molts, his eyelids are red. When he molts, they turn pink. Somehow, his eyelids change color when he molts.
*The title is based on the phrase "Hell of a man" mixed in with TMNT humor.
*This is the second episode with crabs on the title card. The first one was [[Krusty Love]].
*When Mr. Krabs defends SpongeBob, his size is taller for the rest of the episode.
*This is another episode pair not to feature [[Patrick]]
