==Plot==
It is now Springtime in [[Bikini Bottom]]. Patrick emerges under his rock wearing a purple sweater. Patrick strips the sweater and buries it under the sand like a dog would. SpongeBob comes out of his house and begins to greet the flowers and sniff them after stating that he has Spring Fever. Squidward emerges from his home as well, and after some convincing from SpongeBob, he too says hello to the flowers. The flowers react like an aggravated cat, hissing at Squidward, causing him to run into his house screaming. SpongeBob says he shall do him a kindness and plant him some hypo-allergenic flowers.

Later, SpongeBob is wearing a gardening outfit, including a sun hat, overalls, and clogs. He first plants a coral flower, and turns to grab the watering can to water said flower only to turn back around and find the flower bitten in half. He continues this routine of planting flowers and turning his back until he states "I'm not taking my eyes off you." Three days later, he still has not moved his eyes, and in fact, has to water them because they have dried out. Patrick walks by and draws SpongeBob's attention – SpongeBob turns back, and the flower is gone again. SpongeBob finally sees a seahorse, which has been eating the flowers, which then runs away and starts neighing on top of a rock. He decides to tame her and writes a scientific journal of sorts about her mysterious qualities, and hence names her "Mystery." The seahorse spots SpongeBob's floral bookmark and approaches him. Apparently eating the bookmark was enough to tame the seahorse, as the episode proceeds to a montage with 1960s psychedelic backgrounds of the two of them frolicking together, enjoying piggyback rides, painting, blowing bubbles, and even going to the hat store.

At the end of the day, SpongeBob lets Mystery sleep in his bed and promises that they will be friends forever. The next day, he rides past Squidward on his bike - which hits a rock sending Squidward off a cliff and causing him to explode. Once arriving at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob ties up Mystery outside like in old western movies. Then, Scooter arrives with his friend, mistaking Mystery for a kiddie ride. As he finds a quarter, he tries to look for it, saying "I can't find the coin slot. Here it is!" Mystery kicks Scooter and into a massive explosion. "Help! Kiddie ride on the loose!" screams Scooter's friend. Mr. Krabs runs to the scene and is shocked, thinking a monster is scaring away customers. He demands that the horse be released into the wild because he is scaring off the customers, telling SpongeBob "It's either you or Mystery." SpongeBob has Mystery shoved in a cupboard and tells her that she only needs to stay there until Patrick finishes the stable he asked him to build - needless to say, Patrick has a board nailed to his forehead sitting with a blank look on his face. SpongeBob starts to go back to his job, with only eight more hours in his job left.

Twelve seconds later, Mystery peers out of the cupboard, and SpongeBob lets off a warning for her and knows that she's hungry. Mystery eats a Krabby Patty, but then she whines, and then SpongeBob warns him, because Krabs has heard it, and asks, "Is that horse here?", and SpongeBob replies "No, Mr. Krabs. I was just doing my imitation of Mystery", and he does a fake, pathetic nicker. Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to "keep working on it," calling it "terrible," and he walks out, and SpongeBob is relieved and he says Mystery "no more hijinks." Squidward comes to the order window, but Mystery eats the order before Squidward gets there. SpongeBob thinks that the Krusty Krab is haunted, and before SpongeBob can leave, Squidward says that there are no ghosts. Squidward starts lecturing SpongeBob; meanwhile, Mystery is stealing customers' orders from their tables. Squidward's lecture goes as follows: "In case you've forgotten, here's how things work. I order the food, you cook the food, the customer gets the food. We do that for forty years and then we die. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, what do you say?" Squidward then sees Mystery as SpongeBob puts Mystery back in the cupboard yelling not to tell Mr. Krabs, adding "I got it all under control!", and Squidward just says "Just get my order!" and he walks out. Mystery eats SpongeBob's hat, [[spatula]], all of the [[Krabby Patties]], the stove, and Old Man Jenkins. From Mystery's stomach, we hear "I don't want to be a burden." The customers get aggravated and start to revolt. Then Squidward says that they "have a minor situation going on in the kitchen", and a man asks him about where their food is. Another man yells that he's "so hungry", a woman says that "This is my only lunch hour" and Tom asks about Old Man Jenkins' whereabouts. Then, Squidward says that the customers should "Take it easy" and adds "the food's no good here anyway." This causes Mr. Krabs to come out and ask Squidward "Squidward, what is going on here?!" to which he replies, "Why don't you go ask Cowbob RanchPants and his faithful companion Sir Eats-a-Lot?"

Mystery belches up Old Man Jenkins, apparently after getting a bellyache because of eating all the Krabby Patties. Mr. Krabs walks in and thinks he is seeing things, but he isn't and demands that the horse be released back into the wild, and SpongeBob pleads with him not to have Mystery gotten rid of. Mr. Krabs is touched by the story and continues on to tell SpongeBob about the story of his best friend: "I was five years old and me father gave me a dollar. I loved that dollar, loved it like a brother. Me and that dollar went everywhere together." Then SpongeBob asks about what happened to the dollar, Krabs answers, "And one day at the beach, it was so hot and I was so thirsty! I spent it on a soda. My best friend!" and starts to weep. After regaining his composure he states that "The kitchen is no place for a live horse!", which causes the customers to spit out their food. Before during and after this scene, we can see Squidward, and later a customer weeping until a bowl of onions is seen beside them. SpongeBob takes Mystery outside and tells her "You belong in the wild." He turns his back on her and the horse walks away and when Patrick walks up, still with the board on his head from earlier, he tells Mystery to "just get out of here" and he walks away, and he says that "she's gone, and I'll never see her again." Mr. Krabs comes up and says that he did the proper thing. Squidward interrupts the conversation to let Mr. Krabs know that the safe is empty because Mystery had an after-dinner salad: all the money in the safe. Mr. Krabs screams "'''''GET THAT HORSE!'''''" and SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs go running after Mystery into the horizon.

The episode ends with Patrick trying to get into the hat store to buy a hat, but can't because the board on his head from earlier is too wide to fit through the door.

Squidward appears from his house to take a ride on his bike to work. SpongeBob and Patrick are in a beanstalk tree house speaking in code about Squidward going to work and can be heard giggling. Squidward rides over to them, and begins to mock their secret language, but SpongeBob says that they cannot tell him about the secret language because he is not a member of the club. Squidward asks, What does it take to be a member, besides being a moron? SpongeBob tells Squidward that he could not even get into the club if he tried. Squidward says that he happens to be a member of over 20 different exclusive clubs all across the sea bottom. Patrick says that Squidward will definitely not fit in. Squidward says that they should be begging him to join the club and as such begins to climb the beanstalk. He gets inside the club only to find that the room is very small, and that is the type of fitting in SpongeBob and Patrick was referring to. He is then told that they have been stuck in the club for three days. SpongeBob and Patrick decide to initiate Squidward anyhow, and sing him the welcome song.

Squidward gets annoyed and tries to get out of the club by pulling on a beanstalk branch, causing the whole tree house to go flying into the air, landing in a kelp forest, presumably in the middle of nowhere. As it is flying through the air, a couple has seen the club house, the male fish says to the female "make a wish honey" as the tree house flies overhead.

The boys emerge from the tree house. Patrick and SpongeBob are excited because of the ride, but Squidward is frantically pacing and screaming about the fact that he is lost with SpongeBob and Patrick. He states "Why must every 11 minutes of my life be filled with misery? Why?"

Squidward says that this is the end, but SpongeBob tries to reassure him by saying that they will be fine if they stick together and that they are fine because they have the magic conch shell. Patrick tells SpongeBob to ask it something, so he pulls the cord on the shell while asking if he will ever get married, to which the conch replies maybe someday.

Squidward thinks the idea is absurd, and that it is just a stupid toy. The boys are angered by Squidward's comment, and SpongeBob asks the shell what they must do to be rescued. The response: Nothing. Due to this, Patrick and SpongeBob proceed to sit down with blank looks on their faces, literally doing nothing. Squidward abandons them after mocking them again... He finds himself lost in the forest, until he sees a light at the end of the kelp tunnel. After running towards it, he ends up right where he began, which means that if he had been running in a straight line as was alluded to, that he would have had to run all the way around the world.

This leads to Squidward setting up a semi-camp, starting a fire and trying to grill a bug on a frying pan. Where he got the pan is not specified. He continues to mock the two of them for listening to the conch, saying "As if the answers to all your problems will fall right out of the sky!" At the same time, a Picnic Supply Inc. plane falling out of the sky that must drop the load: a pre-assembled picnic table and umbrella, tent, and a very large supply of various foods. SpongeBob and Patrick immediately begin to dig into all the food. Just so he can have food, Squidward apologizes for his selfishness but SpongeBob says that he should ask the Magic Conch what he should eat. The conch is apparently mad at Squidward for his prior remarks and tells him he cannot have anything to eat. After many tries, his head starts to morph, and grow red in anger.

Suddenly, a park ranger appears. He sees the boys' conch and lets everyone know he is a club member. He asks the conch what they should do now, to which the reply is..... "Nothing." The three of them flop down into the blank look once again; Squidward weakly joins them and, closing the episode, says "All hail the magic conch!"

*When Squidward is asking the conch shell if he can eat anything and in the last shot, when the conch shell says no, the conch shell is being held by SpongeBob's yellow hand, instead of Squidward's hand, but in the next shot, Squidward's holding the conch shell again.
*Squidward's line "Why must every 11 minutes of my life be filled with misery?" is a reference to approximately how long an average episode is. Squidward did the same thing in the episode [[Nature Pants (Episode)|Nature Pants]]: "I'll give him 11 minutes." Also, though not by Squidward, this reference also appears at the end of the later episode [[Missing Identity]] ("Well, you managed to kill 11 minutes.").

==Plot==
At the [[Krusty Krab]], Old Man Jenkins grabs a bottle of ketchup and heads to a table. Since he is old, he accidentally shoots it at a wall. Plankton is inside a capsule that is inside the bottle of ketchup, and doesn’t expect this. He has been fired, through the wall, and landed in Mr. Krabs office. Mr. Krabs throws him back to the [[Chum Bucket]], and he tries to think of a new plan. Karen insists that he use the machine he made last Tuesday. So he uses the machine to swap lives with Mr. Krabs (and gets rid of Mr. Krabs), then he wakes up in Mr. Krabs' desk. There is a name plate reading ''Mr. Plankton'', and there is a photo of him with Mr. Krabs' teenage daughter, Pearl. He only cares about the [[Krabby Patties]], and neglects everyone else. SpongeBob is promoted to co-cashier, where he tears the restaurant down. Squidward is at the grill and makes horrible garbage burgers, because he says he likes his life to be a little less yellow (without SpongeBob). Then, Pearl rushes into the Krusty Krab, and she asks Plankton to have some allowance.Plankton gives her only 1 dollar, and Pearl cries and cries until Plankton swallows all the tear water, then Nat presses hard on Plankton and tells him SpongeBob and Squidward gave him a nasty patty and a large-sized soda ("I soiled the name of the Krusty Krab! Soiled it! Soiled it!" SpongeBob says). Then, just as Plankton gets ready to snap, an alarm goes off, and the naked Mr. Krabs (who is now playing Plankton's role as the villain), now named "Krabs", comes in, destroying the restaurant and trying to steal the [[Krabby Patty]] formula. SpongeBob shoots a bikini at Krabs, and he must throw the Krabby Patty back. Then, SpongeBob and the customers have a "victory screech," and Krabs says that he'll come back tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and so on (even repeating "And the next day..." on the telephone to the point where Plankton screams). Plankton rips out his Mr. Krabs uniform to reveal a button strapped to his waist, and presses the button to go back to the present time in real life, and eats [[Holographic Meatloaf]].

==Plot==
SpongeBob is watching his favorite show, ''The Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy''. He has entered a competition, and is listening eagerly to see if he's won the mystery prize. The announcer declares the winner as "SpringBoob SquirePin". However, it is actually SpongeBob SquarePants, as the announcer did not "pronounce it correctly".

SpongeBob has won the "conch signal", a conch whose noise is a signal which Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy respond to. However, SpongeBob constantly sounds it in order to get them to do favors.

Annoyed, Barnacle Boy shouts at SpongeBob, who says that he just wants to spend time with them. They spend time together, with SpongeBob dressed as a superhero. In the street, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy see an old man, who was once ''[[Atomic Flounder|The Atomic Flounder]]''. SpongeBob attacks the old man but is stopped.

At a restaurant, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy ask SpongeBob to find their theme song on a jukebox. They run outside and hope to escape from SpongeBob, but get trapped by ''The Dirty Bubble''. SpongeBob pops the [[Dirty Bubble]] with a pencil tip, saving the day. Then SpongeBob, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy sing in Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's [[Invisible Boat Mobile]].

==Plot==
At the fry cook museum, SpongeBob and Patrick are amazed by everything. They see a greasy griddle with a golden spatula embedded in the grease. On it is a plaque, which says "Many have tried to pull this spatula out of this ancient grease, but all have failed. Only a fry cook worthy of King Neptune himself can wield the [[Golden Spatula]]". While SpongeBob is posing for a picture with the spatula, an old lady asks him "Do you know where the menu section is?" SpongeBob replies "It's over that way." But when he is pointing to where the menu section is, he unexpectedly pulls the spatula out. Shortly afterwards, King Neptune appears from a cloud of smoke. He asks who pulled out the spatula, and SpongeBob takes credit. At the fry cook museum, SpongeBob and Patrick are amazed by everything. They see a greasy griddle with a golden spatula embedded in the grease. On it is a plaque, which says "Many have tried to pull this spatula out of this ancient grease, but all have failed. Only a fry cook worthy of King Neptune himself can wield the [[Golden Spatula]]". While SpongeBob is posing for a picture with the spatula, an old lady asks him "Do you know where the menu section is?" SpongeBob replies "It's over that way." But when he is pointing to where the menu section is, he unexpectedly pulls the spatula out. Shortly afterwards, King Neptune appears from a cloud of smoke. He asks who pulled out the spatula, and SpongeBob takes credit. SpongeBob wakes up, and realizes that it is April Fools Day. He begins the day with playing a prank to his snail, Gary (who cries because he does not know it is April Fools Day and the joke involves killed mollusks (Crushed Clam shells)...which Gary ''is''), then goes to work. Squidward, annoyed by the laughing, looks at the calendar. He is shocked and surprised that it is April Fools Day, and calls Mr. Krabs saying he is sick. Mr. Krabs says that there is some person in his office who wants to sell Squidward's art. Squidward immediately rushes to his office, only to find that it was a prank. Squidward resigns, but gets his job back after being persuaded by SpongeBob.

SpongeBob is then constantly doing pranks with his tongue, and his laughs really annoy Squidward. Therefore, Squidward does a prank on him. He gets a blob of mustard in the middle of a lasso. SpongeBob goes to clean it up, and the lasso closes on his leg. Squidward chops a nearby rope, which sends SpongeBob flying around getting seriously hurt. Squidward laughs hard out, while SpongeBob cries and runs away to his house. The customers aren't happy with Squidward around, so they leave, one of them yelling, "April Fools, JERK!". Squidward has to apologize, but he cannot say he is sorry. He thinks of other ways to apologize to SpongeBob, but all do not work until he decides to apologize after remembering what happened.

No-one listens to him, and accidentally stomp all over him. Plankton decides to trick SpongeBob into being "assertive" in order to get the things that he (Plankton) wants. At first it does not work so well, as SpongeBob is naturally kind and naive. But then he does listen to Plankton and with rude behavior such as stealing everyone's hot dogs and popping a volleyball, everyone leaves the beach. SpongeBob is upset by this and then discovers that Plankton was using him. So he becomes "aggressively nice" by giving back everyone's hot dogs and turning into a volleyball himself. Plankton leaves the beach disgusted by the cuteness of it all.

==Plot==
SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy are making sandcastles at Goo Lagoon when Sandy gets homesick. She walks off, while SpongeBob tries to cheer her up. Misinterpreting what Sandy means by feeling homesick, SpongeBob and Patrick blindfold her and take her to her tree dome, but Sandy knows this is not her real home.

SpongeBob and Patrick realize that Sandy's from Texas, and decide to bring some Texas to Bikini Bottom to cheer up Sandy. Sandy wants to leave Bikini Bottom and go back to Texas, but SpongeBob and Patrick have a surprise for her at the Krusty Krab. Failing to convince her to go to the Krusty Krab, Patrick shouts after the bus which Sandy just boarded, saying "What's so great about dumb old Texas, anyway?"

Sandy comes back and yells "Don't you dare take the name of Texas in vain!" Patrick then insists upon saying people from Texas are dumb. Sandy becomes even angrier and says that they "can't say nothing about Texas". This gives SpongeBob a brilliant idea. He and Patrick start insulting Texas in order to distract Sandy, and so she angrily chases them on a homicidal rampage. They hope to reach the Krusty Krab before Sandy catches them. Patrick continuously insults Texas, thinking Sandy is too slow to catch up to them, only so that both of them realize that Sandy ''is'' catching up, and fast.

While they're running as fast as they possibly can a lasso is thrown up on top of Patrick, pulling him back. Patrick suddenly exclaims" Ah! SpongeBob!", as a nuclear explosion in the background lets out. SpongeBob still hoping to reach the Krusty Krab is both screaming and running. Sandy then lassos SpongeBob’s arm, while he has firm grasp of the door with his other hand. While Sandy is tugging on the rope, SpongeBob tears the door knob off, taking the front of the Krusty Krab with him. Where the party shouts "Howdy ya’ll!", and Sandy decides that she's been home all along. But then, Patrick shouts "Yeah, who needs dumb old Texas?" Sandy gets angry once again, and Patrick asks "Should I start running now?"

SpongeBob and Patrick board a bus to get home from [[Glove World]], a glove-themed amusement park, they have apparently gotten on the wrong one and head off a large cliff. The cliff leads to a sort of aphotic zone called [[Rock Bottom (City)|Rock Bottom]], inhabited by anglerfish-like creatures. Patrick gets on a bus home but accidentally leaves SpongeBob behind. After several unsuccessful attempts to get on the bus, he heads to the bus station and gets in a very long line. By the time he gets to the front, he finds out that the last bus to leave for the night is already gone, and he's stuck there until morning. He gets scared by a raspberry sound coming from nowhere, and he dashes back to the cliff. The raspberry sound's maker reveals himself to be a friendly-looking anglerfish creature, which has SpongeBob's balloon from Glove World. The creature blows up the balloon, ties it to SpongeBob's wrist, and allows him to float up the cliff and back to [[Bikini Bottom]]. Unfortunately, Patrick thinks SpongeBob is still in Rock Bottom and goes back, causing bad luck for Patrick!

At the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob shouts "Eight doubloons! I'm rich!" Upon hearing this, Mr. Krabs jumps over to SpongeBob, saying "I saw it first!" He then realises that SpongeBob and Patrick are playing a board game, and that SpongeBob does not have any physical dubloons. Patrick tells him the name of the game (The Flying Dutchman's Treasure Hunt), and that it's based on a real treasure hunt. Mr. Krabs wins 17 times in a row, and SpongeBob wants to go home and sleep. However, Mr. Krabs seems to be addicted to the game, and keeps on persuading him to play more. SpongeBob goes to sleep, and the next morning he sees Mr. Krabs in a pirate ship. Mr. Krabs tells him that he's on a treasure hunt, and SpongeBob and Patrick decide to join him. But, they goof of while trying learn how to be pirates, and crash the boat in doing so. They follow instructions, until they get to the two-leaved seaweed (It actually has three, but Mr. Krabs pulls off a leaf so it only has two). Mr. Krabs also tells them that they're not allowed to look at the map. The map tells them to go 10,000 paces east, and Mr. Krabs asks Patrick which way is east. He looks at a compass, and points west.

After 10,000 paces, there is nothing, and Mr. Krabs says "But we did everything the map said! 10,000 paces east!" Patrick immediately replies "Oh. East? I thought you said weast!" Mr. Krabs says "Weast? What kind of compass are you reading?" "This one, sir." Mr. Krabs grabs Patrick's compass and says "That's west, Patrick. You're fired again!" After going around 9,552 paces east, they set up a camp. Patrick and SpongeBob look at the map. They realize that it's their board game taped to a piece of old paper. Mr. Krabs catches them, and they beg for mercy outside. However, they find the 'X', and start digging. They find the treasure, but Mr. Krabs wants it all for himself and they argue. The Flying Dutchman is woken up, and congratulates SpongeBob and Patrick for saving him "a lot of digging". He keeps the treasure, but gives them two gold dubloons. Mr. Krabs asks for a reward (because he is the captain), but only receives a tiny plastic treasure chest (but it's based on a ''real'' treasure chest).

Squidward throws a bubble gum wrapper on SpongeBob's lawn. When SpongeBob discovers it, he asks Squidward if he wants it back. However, Squidward tells SpongeBob he can have it. However, SpongeBob now tells him on the Shell Phone, and Squidward has his long and final persuasion to give the paper to SpongeBob "''Take it SpongeBob, yes, take it please, I promise you no matter how much I may beg, and plead, and cry, don't give that paper back to me...Ever!''" and SpongeBob agrees to confirm his promise. Squidward is about to play ''Mary Had a Little Lamb'' but SpongeBob is laughing about all the fun he is thinking about that he's going to soon have. He uses the paper to make a cape, pirate patch, origami, etcetera. Squidward decides to prove to SpongeBob that paper is not fun.

Squidward laughs and enjoys his own time reading ''Boring Science Digest'', taking a bath, and drawing art. While drawing, Squidward accidentally paints himself having fun with a piece of paper. When he breaks it, the Squidward painting's mouth is open and invisibly cries by his death. Squidward watches him have lots and lots of fun until the ''Mary Had A Little Lamb'' duet.

Squidward tries to get it back but SpongeBob keeps his promise. Squidward trades in everything back, and finally his own shirt-cloth and SpongeBob cannot help and it decides to break his promise. Squidward tries to have fun with the paper but cannot, he traded everything for the worthless piece of paper for nothing and soon Patrick took the paper from Squidward and uses it to put his gum on it and Patrick comes over to SpongeBob to play.

Squidward is now all alone and the season is beginning to become winter. Then Squidward says, ''"Anybody have any sunscreen?"''

==Plot==
The episode begins with a shot of SpongeBob's house. SpongeBob suddenly dashes out through the door with a pile of valentines in his arms, screams out "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!", and begins giving them to his friends, but bad things happen in turn, such as Mrs. Puff running into a fire hydrant when she gets hers. He even gives one to Plankton, which is delivered with the help of tweezers. He then comes up to Sandy's treedome and they present gifts to each other. Sandy gives SpongeBob a nut with an arrow though it and says, "I'm nuts for you!," and in turn, SpongeBob blows a bubble of chocolare into Sandy's moutn. He then tells Sandy his plan for Patrick's valentine gift, which involves taking him to the Valentine's Day carnival, getting him on the ferris wheel, and revealing to him a hot-air balloon made of Chocolate with a marshmallow Star on either side and a reeded basket. Sandy agrees to the plan, and SpongeBob leaves.

He then visits Patrick, who's making a rock heart for him, and SpongeBob teases Patrick by continuously telling him he can't see it yet because it's not ready yet. They then leave, and when they arrive at the carnival, Patrick goes on a frenzy to find out where the gift is, and constantly guesses the gift is something silly, like the carnival or a quarter. Meanwhile, Sandy is sailing the bubble to the carnival, but is interrupted by chocolate-eating scallops. Back at the carnival, after trying to find the gift at a nearby mountain, SpongeBob takes Patrick to the ferris wheel to see the sky, and after SpongeBob tells him to look at the sky until he sees it, Sandy tells him via walkie-talkie that chocolate-eating scallops are attacking the balloon, and a scallop pops the balloon, so SpongeBob is forced to go to Plan B, but he only has one plan.

Patrick's excitement begins to overtake him as he starts to shake up and down, causing the Ferris wheel to shake, then jump. SpongeBob has to tell him that the present is a handshake, and Patrick gets angry because he got a single handshake. They then go visit other attractions to cheer him up, but nothing works. SpongeBob's other friends visit him to thank him for the gifts they gave him. After a few friends visit, Patrick becomes extremely angry, and when some guy asks SpongeBob and Patrick for the time, the latter turns red in anger, jumps up, tosses him away, and screams, "PATRICK NEEDS LOVE TOO-OO-OOOOO!!!!" He then throws a fit and starts wrecking the carnival. He sees a balloon cart, cuts the strings to the balloons, and wrecks the cart. He sees a mascot dressed as a giant heart, says "I DEFY YOU, HEART MAN!!!!" and destroys the heart suit. Because of the damage he's inflicting, the intercom tells the crowd that there's a chubby pink starfish on the loose, and everybody panics. He sees a ride in the carnival that consists of a heart on a stick with small carriages rotating around it, and angrily says "HEART ON STICK MUST DIE!!!!". However, he is unsuccessful in breaking it, then sees a heart-shaped lollipop being held by a girl. Again, he turns red and angrily says "Heart on stick must die!" and furiously breaks it and then angrily eats it. He advances on the people a few minutes later, and they try to give him gifts, but he angrily says "Nope, it's too late for that now... for ALL of you!", meaning he is about to kill everyone, starting with SpongeBob.

But before he gets the chance, Sandy arrives on the balloon, with spots of the balloon covered with bandages from the scallop attack. They all tell him to turn around, but he refuses until Sandy shouts "Howdy, Patrick!" He turns around and shouts "Hi Sandy", becomes awestruck, and then takes a bite of his present, and the whole carnival is covered in chocolate. Smiling at SpongeBob and completely forgetting his anger, Patrick says, "Aww, SpongeBob, you didn't have to get me anything," and the episode concludes.

==Plot==
SpongeBob awakens hungry in the night. While preparing a midnight snack, he leaves the refrigerator open, causing his home to freeze. By morning he has developed the "suds", a sponge sickness similer to a cold or influenza. SpongeBob refuses to admit to his illness, to avoid missing work, but finally relents to take rest. He calls upon Sandy to take him to the doctor, but is first visited by Patrick.

When Patrick convinces SpongeBob that doctors are harbingers of torture and outdated magazines, SpongeBob allows "Doctor" Patrick to practice on him. The inane treatments (such as making foot sandwiches and congesting his ostia with corks) don't help SpongeBob much. When Sandy arrives she takes SpongeBob to a real doctor, who prescribes the "sponge treatment", which is performed by a live human hand named Hans. This involves being rinsed with soap and used to scrub various objects and people. The treatment cures SpongeBob completely, and he even receives a lollypop. Jealous, Patrick requests the sponge treatment as well, but unlike SpongeBob's treatment he gets an aching treatment for starfishes.

==Plot==
SpongeBob has a dream that he is in a hot rod and he got his driver's license. Mrs. Puff also appears in this dream and tears out SpongeBob's license, and right after he is somehow 'propelled' out of his own dream cloud, he sees his real self. He realizes that he has no dream to go to, until he sees Gary's dream cloud. He jumps in, frightening Gary. He is in a vast library, and Gary appears to be humanoid and can speak English. SpongeBob goes out of Gary's dream cloud and into Patrick's. He is on a kiddie ride that costs 25 cents per ride. SpongeBob explains to him that in a dream, he can do whatever he wants. He demonstrates by turning into a skyscraper and making a million identical copies of himself. Patrick says he is already satisfied, and SpongeBob goes out of Patrick's dream cloud. Patrick then complains that he has run out of quarters. (This could be a hint towards Patrick's empty-mindedness.) Next, he goes to Squidward's dream cloud and sees what is going on. He is performing a clarinet solo in a theater, set in the 1700s because of the theme. He distracts the king and Squidward stops, and the king growls at him for not playing. After this happens several times, Squidward gets angry and snaps his clarinet, but SpongeBob saves him by turning into a clarinet. It produces no sound, but SpongeBob just sings, and everybody applauds. SpongeBob goes to a different dream, this time Sandy's. They are skydiving, and they have to land on a painted target. SpongeBob asks if it is safe, and Sandy says it is safe so long as he has a parachute. However, SpongeBob misinterprets this, and Sandy lands hard in a truck. SpongeBob decides to stop invading other's dreams. He goes to what he thinks is Mr. Krabs' dream, but actually is Pearl's dream. After realizing this, he immediately goes to Mr. Krabs' dream, where he's fishing money. SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs manage to catch Moby Dollar, but it escapes and SpongeBob is shot out of Mr. Krabs' dream cloud and into Plankton's. Plankton, in his dream, is bigger than the buildings and has laser-eyes. SpongeBob, misinterpreting this to be a nightmare, pokes him with a pin and Plankton deflates, and wakes up. SpongeBob then goes back to his own dream cloud, where everyone's angry faces appear and start spinning around him. When he wakes up, everyone is in his house complaining that he has ruined all of their dreams, until Patrick comes up and asks "Does anyone have a quarter?" because of his dream.

==Plot==
SpongeBob and Sandy are playing [[Karate]]. SpongeBob is carefully going around the house looking for her, until she jumps out. They fight, and have lots of fun. Sandy tells him that she will sneak up on him and fight him tomorrow. SpongeBob thinks anyone or anything can be Sandy, so he is cautious and does not work much. Mr. Krabs demands to know what is going on, so SpongeBob explains to him that he is playing karate. He pronounces it and Mr. Krabs says he should be making him '''money''', with his '''[[spatula]]'''. Therefore, Mr. Krabs tells him to stop playing karate, or he will be fired. Sandy fights him, and SpongeBob tells her that Mr. Krabs will fire him. Sandy does not believe him and then Mr. Krabs catches SpongeBob and angrily fires him, as he thinks Sandy's fault was SpongeBob's (even though he was just standing around). After Sandy explains that it was not SpongeBob's fault, Mr. Krabs gives SpongeBob his job back. And then he tells him: No more karate, its poisoning your mind. SpongeBob and Sandy try to forget karate by going to the park having lunch. SpongeBob uses his hands to cut a slice of barnacle loaf, which makes Sandy remember Karate. They then begin chopping tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce to make the sandwiches and begin playing Karate again. While Mr. Krabs is taking a walk through the park and sees things chopped in half and sees that SpongeBob and Sandy were doing Karate, but decides for them to use their karate for entertainment at the Krusty Krab.

==Plot==
The day starts off well for Squidward. He is about to practice his [[Clarinet]] when SpongeBob's alarm clock (facing out the window) knocks the clarinet inside Squidward's mouth, and SpongeBob asks Squidward if he wants to go jellyfishing. Squidward tries to reply, but because his clarinet is in his mouth, anything he says is incomprehensible, and SpongeBob thinks he said "yes". After Squidward takes his clarinet out of his mouth, Squidward is constantly bothered in his house by SpongeBob and Patrick who want to go jellyfishing with him. Squidward, in an attempt to stop SpongeBob and Patrick from bothering him, tells SpongeBob that he should be at work, but SpongeBob tells him that it is a Sunday, and the Krusty Krab is closed on Sundays.

Squidward tells SpongeBob and Patrick to stay where they are, and goes out the back door of his house and goes into the Krusty Krab. He sees SpongeBob and Patrick looking for him, and goes into the kitchen. SpongeBob and Patrick are still looking for him, so he goes into the freezer. After SpongeBob and Patrick go away, Squidward is frightened to find that the handle is jammed and that he is stuck inside the freezer. He assures himself that someone will find him.

Unfortunately, this is not true, so two thousand years later, the door falls down and a frozen Squidward is defrosted by 'SpongeTron', a descendant of SpongeBob. Squidward finds out that everything in the future (except for people) is made entirely of chrome, and all organic life forms that aren't people (such as seaweed or kelp) are simply spray-painted chrome. SpongeTron introduces Squidward to his clones; X, Y, and Z. SpongeTron inform Squidward that there are ''486'' SpongeTrons in response to the question asked by Squidward "Are the other letters of the alphabet involved, here?", meaning that the English alphabet has been expanded, merged with another character set, or (most likely) it was hyperbole by the animators to make the future more complex. Squidward decides that he hates the future, so SpongeTron directs him to a time machine, which is actually a small room with a control panel. Squidward uses the time machine (shortly after meeting Patron, a two-headed descendant of Patrick) to travel to the prehistoric past, ripping the entire room out of the building in the process.

He meets Primitive Sponge and Prehistoric Starfish, whom are the ancestors of SpongeBob and Patrick. Squidward tells them about jellyfishing because they keep on torturing themselves with jellyfish. They seem to be interested, but are driven crazy by Squidward's clarinet, and chase after him. He goes into the time machine, but it malfunctions, and he goes to a very strange place with abstract shapes and no characters or setting (it is possibly an alternate universe, another dimension, or a time warp, but Squidward calls it 'nowhere'). At first Squidward is happy to be here because there is no SpongeBob or Patrick around, but he then becomes freaked out by the eternal nothingness and desperate to escape. After he finds the time machine, he begs it to return to the present, which it does, but Squidward finds out that in his travels, he invented jellyfishing. The episode ends when Squidward says "I'm going back."

Squidward is terrified at the sight of "SpongeSnail" and runs around his house trying to escape him. When SpongeBob looks in a mirror, his eyes stretch, his arms and legs shrivel up and fall off, and his body stretches. He realizes that he is turning into a snail, and goes to Squidward for help. Squidward is terrified at the sight of "SpongeSnail" and runs around his house trying to escape him. After a few minutes of this, he accidentally gets injected with the syringe and turns into a snail. In the next scene, Gary, SpongeSnail and "SquidSnail" are singing "Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow" (to the tune of "Yo ho blow the man down") and Patrick yells " Will you clam up?!" and throws a boot at SquidSnail.

==Plot==
It's Halloween in Bikini Bottom, and SpongeBob has to clean the dishes in the Krusty Krab. After he finishes, he runs out of the Krusty Krab, scared of the 'Boo' sign that appeared out of nowhere in the kitchen. Mr. Krabs asks him if he wants to hear his 'annual scary story', and he does. He tells of the 'Flying Dutchman', a ghost that steals souls on Halloween. Squidward, dressed up as the [[Flying Dutchman]], scares SpongeBob saying that he'll steal his soul. SpongeBob has a reputation for being easily scared, and is nicknamed 'SpongeBob ScaredyPants'. After being scared by Patrick, he asks him for help. They make a 'Flying Dutchman' costume, but it does not scare anyone. SpongeBob realizes that a real ghost has a round head, and he has a square one. So Patrick (with the help of a hair shaver) makes SpongeBob's head round. On the roof of the Krusty Krab where a Halloween party is taking place, they turn off all the lights (starting the episode's climax) and lower SpongeBob with a rope. The other end is tied to Patrick's waist on the roof, but when a jellyfish stings him, Patrick starts running in circles. SpongeBob is flying around inside the Krusty Krab, hitting the walls, and when he turns upside-down someone spots his square pants. Everybody laughs at him, but soon the real Flying Dutchman appears, yelling '''''"ENOUGH!"'''''. He complains that SpongeBob's costume is insulting, and takes it off. However, he is scared by SpongeBob, whose brain is showing as a result of Patrick's shaving. He flees in fear. Subsequently, everyone runs away, leaving SpongeBob satisfied to have finally succeeded in scaring people. Patrick and SpongeBob go outside and Patrick says "I think it's your pink hat", to which SpongeBob replies "Pink hat? Oh, that's not a hat, that's my brain." Patrick screams and runs away. SpongeBob yells "Don't worry, it grows back!" and the episode finishes.

==Plot==
At the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob reminds Squidward that it is [[Employee of the Month|Employee of the month award day]]. However, Squidward tells SpongeBob that the award is a scam, and Mr. Krabs is using it to make him work harder. SpongeBob doesn't believe him, and works harder. Mr. Krabs warns SpongeBob that Squidward might get the new Employee of the Month Award, and since SpongeBob has 26 consecutive awards (and wants a 27th), he starts worrying. Soon, he imagines his awards as drill sergeants, and the one for March tells him not to let Squidward get to his head, as he is only telling him the award is a scam to demoralize him. Squidward says that he could get the award if he wanted to, and SpongeBob asks him to prove it.

They both decide that they will arrive at the Krusty Krab earlier than the other; SpongeBob tries to destroy Squidward's alarm clock so he won't wake up, but Squidward has a lot more in his closet. They set up traps early in the morning, but they finally get out and start running towards the Krusty Krab. They 'overwork' (''ex: Squidward cleans the tables so much that he breaks them and then he and SpongeBob use two spatulas each to make hundreds of Krabby Patties''), eventually causing the Krusty Krab to explode. As the Krabby Patties rain down from the sky, some of the citizens of Bikini Bottom believe that they are free, and while Mr. Krabs tries to makes the citizens pay for them, SpongeBob and Squidward ask him who is the Employee of the Month (though it is likely that neither of them will get it, as they destroyed the Krusty Krab and wasted over 10,000 Krabby Patties).

==Plot==
At the Krusty Krab, Pearl is crying hard out. Mr. Krabs asks her what is wrong, and she replies that her boyfriend (Octavius Rex) has just dumped her, and the prom is tomorrow night. Mr. Krabs suggests taking Squidward or himself to go, however SpongeBob is the one that has to go with her. Pearl hates being embarrassed, and does not want to be embarrassed by SpongeBob, but her wish not to be embarrassed does not get granted. SpongeBob toasted himself, wore artificial legs, and wore a back wig to make himself look "long, tan and handsome" for Pearl. At the prom he spills fruit punch everywhere and causes hilarious disaster wherever his tall sponge-ish legs take him. He can't seem to control his crazy costume and makes Pearl unpopular. SpongeBob, after having broken everything at the prom, runs off into the restroom sobbing and absorbing. A bunch of lady fish run off embarrassed (because he went into the ladies' bathroom), and then Pearl manages to successfully understand SpongeBob's gibberish.

Then she lets him still wear the wig and they do the Sponge Dance. More havoc occurs, including several fish being chased by giant tomatoes and being hauled off, and an angry mob lifts them into the air.

SpongeBob and Pearl think that means they're popular until someone says "Go wreck someone else's prom will ya?". Pearl is very embarrassed. SpongeBob apologizes, then Pearl says even though it was a disaster it was really fun. Then right as they almost embrace and kiss, Mr. Krabs appears, armed with a shovel, and tells SpongeBob not to step on "his flower" on the ground. Pearl once again gets very embarrassed thinking that Mr. Krabs was telling SpongeBob to stay away from Pearl. Pearl tells SpongeBob good night, but SpongeBob is frozen. Later a 2nd SpongeBob arrives and takes the frozen SpongeBob and calls him a dummy.

==Plot==
Squidward is proud of having just finished his wax sculpture of himself and declares he has "conquered all artistic medium" (referencing a large diversity of art styles and reproductions of famous pieces which all have Squidward for subject). While he goes to take a bath, SpongeBob and Patrick throw a shell with which they are playing Frisbee into Squidward's house, and it hits the sculpture. SpongeBob and Patrick think they've injured Squidward, and after several humorous attempts to "resuscitate" him, they believe that Squidward is dead. Squidward, fresh from his pampered bath, dramatically emerges in a rush of steam from the warm bathroom, wearing talcum powder and a white bathrobe and towel. SpongeBob and Patrick believe they are seeing Squidward's ghost and, hoping to avoid any haunting or punishments, place themselves as Squidward's willing servants. Squidward gleefully takes advantage of the situation, having them serve and pamper him, do chores, and simply entertain him. Eventually, SpongeBob and Patrick, while entering a "messy" room, come across a comic book inspired by the story of the Flying Dutchman (who haunted the seas because his body was used as a window display in a clothing store), and decide that since Squidward is a vengeful spirit, he needs to be put to rest. Thus, SpongeBob and Patrick try to give him a proper burial as well as a funeral. Squidward eventually admits his charade, but SpongeBob and Patrick believe that Squidward is simply in denial about his death. SpongeBob blows a giant bubble that engulfs Squidward and sends him floating up to 'the great beyond', right into a huge swarm of seagulls while Squidward is in a fetal position.

==Plot==
SpongeBob realizes that he is not very strong (his weights are made of simble stuffed toys), and Sandy puts him an intense training regimen to help him become more muscular. SpongeBob cannot complete any of the exercises, however, so he gives up and runs back home in pain.

Later that day, he sees an advertisement for inflatable bicep-shaped balloons called Anchor Arms. He orders a set, puts them on and goes to [[Goo Lagoon]]. He then begins showing them off around Bikini Bottom, gaining many followers in the process. Sandy, seeing his new "muscles" (which are actually a balloon), decides that he should test them out in the upcoming anchor toss competition. SpongeBob tries to stop her from entering his name, but SpongeBob makes it just as he is signed in.

When it is SpongeBob's turn during the anchor toss, he overinflates the Anchor Arms while straining to toss the anchor, causing the air inside them to randomly blow to various parts of his body. Eventually, the Anchor Arms explode out of overstraining, and SpongeBob is disqualified for his fake muscles. A disappointed Sandy decides to put him on a new, simpler training regimen in which SpongeBob must repeatedly press buttons on a remote control. Even this, apparently, is difficult for him as his arm falls off (a running gag) and he is forced to ask Sandy to grab it for him.

==Plot==
At work, SpongeBob daydreams of living with the [[jellyfish]]. He accidentally starts a fire, and a fireman runs in and turns on the hose. SpongeBob is in the way, thus fills up with water and falls on the fire, putting it out. After Mr. Krabs scrapes SpongeBob off the grill, he asks SpongeBob why he was not concentrating, and SpongeBob explains that he wishes to live in the wild. Mr. Krabs thinks he is joking, until SpongeBob walks out. SpongeBob then gives Patrick mayonnaise, old phone books, and his special jellyfishing net, [[Ol' Reliable]]. He even takes off all his clothes.

SpongeBob tries to fit in with the jellyfish, but is continuously shocked (literally) by them. Patrick is furious at SpongeBob’s decision and tries to catch him while jellyfishing. Nothing seems to persuade SpongeBob to come home, until he is bitten by poisonous sea urchins (they appear to be the underwater equivalent of mosquitoes). Later, he is walking back to [[Bikini Bottom]], repeating the word "buzz" over and over, while sobbing. He walks up to the door to the [[Krusty Krab]], still buzzing. He sees a lot of [[Krabby Patty|Krabby Patties]] on the table and says "Krabby Patties.". He buzzes to [[Sandy's Treedome|Sandy's treedome]], and says "Sandy...". He eventually makes it back to his [[SpongeBob's House|pineapple house]], and decides to come back home, finally deciding that the wild is not so good after all. When he gets to his house, he takes a minute to contemplate his mistake: he gave up a good life with many friends for nothing. The minute he gets inside, everyone welcomes him back. Then, he puts on his clothes again and everyone hugs him (Squidward is forced to). The bacteria causing the itchiness spreads, and everyone becomes itchy, except for SpongeBob.

*After SpongeBob leaves, Squidward and Sandy try to guess how much days before he comes back. Sandy guesses a week, but Squidward guesses 11 minutes. For Pearl's birthday, Mr. Krabs gives her a pair of fishing boots that only cost $2. After Pearl does not accept the gift, Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob that the boots are special, and only worn by the best official fry cooks in the world. SpongeBob, excited, exchanges his paycheck for them, and starts wearing them all day and night. The squeak annoys Squidward so much that he leaves on vacation and Mr. Krabs has to fill in for him. After a sleepless night because of a squeaking window, Mr. Krabs cannot stand the squeak of SpongeBob's boots anymore. At his wit's end, he steals the boots and buries them underneath the Krusty Krab. However, he feels guilty and starts going into a strange state of guilt and a weird curse of the boots, believing that he hears nothing but the constant squeaking of the boots (every word he sees in his restaurant is even replaced by the word "squeak"). He unburied the boots, shrinks them and eats them in a bout of insanity. He thinks he finally has peace and quiet and goes on vacation with Pearl, until he hiccups, making the boots (inside his body) squeak.

*During a [[Nickelodeon]] movie promotion in 1999, a set of scratch and sniff stickers were released at specified fast-food restaurants to be used with certain Nicktoons. One of them featured the scene when Mr. Krabs dropped the boots in the boiling water. ==Plot==
For Pearl's birthday, Mr. Krabs gives her a pair of fishing boots that only cost $2. After Pearl does not accept the gift, Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob that the boots are special, and only worn by the best official fry cooks in the world. SpongeBob, excited, exchanges his paycheck for them, and starts wearing them all day and night. The squeak annoys Squidward so much that he leaves on vacation and Mr. Krabs has to fill in for him. After a sleepless night because of a squeaking window, Mr. Krabs cannot stand the squeak of SpongeBob's boots anymore. At his wit's end, he steals the boots and buries them underneath the Krusty Krab. However, he feels guilty and starts going into a strange state of guilt and a weird curse of the boots, believing that he hears nothing but the constant squeaking of the boots (every word he sees in his restaurant is even replaced by the word "squeak"). He unburied the boots, shrinks them and eats them in a bout of insanity. He thinks he finally has peace and quiet and goes on vacation with Pearl, until he hiccups, making the boots (inside his body) squeak.

==Plot==
When Sandy creates a rocket and tells SpongeBob that she's going to the moon, SpongeBob begs her to take him with her. Sandy tells him that there's not enough room, and SpongeBob compacts himself so he can fit into a small container. Sandy explains that she needs all of the containers and drawers, and tells him that this trip is for science, not fun. SpongeBob keeps on begging her, and she eventually accepts to take him. SpongeBob runs around the walls chanting "Going to the moon! Moon ride! Moon ride!", and annoys Sandy. Sandy has small net guns that she uses to harvest moon rocks, and denies the existence of aliens on the moon. Patrick comes to SpongeBob in the night and gives him some 'Alien repellent' (for windows), and they go to the rocket to spray it. Even though they're supposed to just spray the windows, Patrick goes inside and SpongeBob accidentally starts up the rocket. No-one is at the controls, so it goes into space, loops around the moon, and comes back to Bikini Bottom.
SpongeBob and Patrick, convinced that they're on the Moon, think that the aliens are projecting their memories onto the environment to trick them. They start catching everyone with the net guns, believing they're aliens. The two then deduce that each other is an alien so they try to capture each other. Patrick accidentally captures himself, and SpongeBob puts him in the rocket. He starts the rocket up again, and it crashes on the moon. Suddenly, SpongeBob realizes his terrible mistake and everybody (Sandy, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Larry the Lobster, etc.) says "SpongeBob, the aliens would like to have a word with you".

*When Patrick is messing around with a control in Sandy's rocket while "playing a game", a sound effect in the background is the rotating block sound from Tetris.

==Plot==
After SpongeBob captures a jellyfish in Jellyfish Fields, it does not want SpongeBob to go away. SpongeBob is at first hesitant of taking it home with him, but he later brings it home as a pet. He shows it to an uninterested Squidward, and the two then go into SpongeBob's house.

Inside SpongeBob's house, the jellyfish and SpongeBob dance to pop music, and the boombox's friction causes Squidward's house to shake. SpongeBob goes to bed twelve hours later in the nighttime. The jellyfish, on the other hand, does not want to go to bed and it and SpongeBob fight whether the boombox should be on or not. SpongeBob puts it on a leash and goes to bed. During the night, the jellyfish finds the other jellyfish outside the bedroom window, and it invites them to party in SpongeBob's house.

The next morning, SpongeBob wakes up and notices that his pet jellyfish is missing. He then looks for it. He finally settles downstairs and finds a lot of jellyfishes partying. SpongeBob, angry, tries to get the jellyfishes out his house, but nothing he tried works. Squidward tries to horribly play his clarinet to get rid of the jellyfishes, but they sting him and break his clarinet. SpongeBob heads out with the CD player, but the jellyfishes pull it back toward them. They all pull on it, and the CD player then collapses and breaks. The jellyfishes become angry and sting SpongeBob. Him and Gary rush to hide at the top of the house.

On top of the house, SpongeBob finds out that the jellyfishes calm down Gary's eyes clash together and create a musical beat. SpongeBob then heads to Jellyfish Fields with Gary, who continues his musical beat, and the jellyfishes follow them. SpongeBob and Jellyfish Fields' nature make music which the jellyfishes enjoy. Once the jellyfishes dance to the music they created, SpongeBob and Gary head back home.

After being selected Boating School Hall Monitor (after everyone else in class has been, sometimes twice), SpongeBob reads out a very long speech, and winds up wasting the entire day. Out of sympathy, Mrs. Puff allows SpongeBob to at least wear his cap and belt until the next day, though she suddenly has misgivings as she watches him go. SpongeBob immediately goes above and beyond the call of duty, first trying to guide traffic stuck at an out-of-order traffic light (and causing a massive pile-up), and then inadvertently igniting the rumor of Bikini Bottom's Open-Window Maniac. Then, SpongeBob finds Patrick littering his strawberry ice cream, and labels him as a criminal. When a front page newspaper headline alerts SpongeBob about the maniac causing trouble around town, he lets Patrick turn over a new leaf as a deputy. They end up getting ice cream twice (Patrick's idea of a scandal), but then SpongeBob and Patrick try and corner the maniac by splitting up and using walkie-talkies. Two policemen ask Patrick if he has seen the maniac: they show him a bad police sketch of SpongeBob. Darkness falls upon the town, quite literally, and Patrick becomes frightened. SpongeBob eventually meets up with Patrick again, but only via the walkie-talkie. Patrick spots the maniac from a distance, and reports his every move to SpongeBob, who of course believes the maniac is right on his tail. Shortly enough, SpongeBob realizes he himself is the maniac. The police are about to arrest SpongeBob, but Mrs. Puff tells the officers that he was her responsibility. Mrs. Puff must teach the next day's class via closed-circuit TV, from her jail cell.

==Plot==
It is an average day at the Krusty Krab, until trouble-maker Bubble Bass has a special order for SpongeBob. When he gets his order, Bubble Bass lies about there being no pickles on it to cause trouble for SpongeBob, and it does. Much to Mr. Krabs' dismay, Bubble Bass knows about the microscopic "Money Back Guarantee" on on the menu, and Bubble Bass requests a refund (to be taken out of SpongeBob's paycheck). SpongeBob loses his confidence (and his mind) and cannot remember how to do anything. Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to go home and get some rest. Squidward takes over the grill, leading to disaster, since he burns everything, even someone's shake.

Mr. Krabs is worried about the effect that Squidward's cooking is having on business, so he resolves to get SpongeBob back to work. When Mr. Krabs arrives at SpongeBob's house, SpongeBob's mental breakdown has gotten worse and everything is in total disarray: eggs and toast are nailed to the walls, furniture is tipped over, music is playing backwards, and SpongeBob is wearing underwear on his head. Mr. Krabs explains to SpongeBob that if he remembers how to make a Krabby Patty, he will be back in order. It takes several days, but SpongeBob finally remembers how to make a Krabby Patty with the works. When SpongeBob returns to work, Bubble Bass requests the same food and lies about having no pickles again. Upon taking one look at Bubble Basss's mouth, SpongeBob cleverly realizes that Bubble Bass is putting the Pickles under his tongue. SpongeBob pulls up Bubble Bass' tongue, revealing several orders worth of pickles and the car keys of a Krusty Krab patron. This makes Bubble Bass think his ride came and he runs away in defeat. Everyone cheers for SpongeBob's return and boos at Squidward.

Whilst pestering Squidward, SpongeBob and Patrick learn that their heroes, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, are in fact living in the Shady Shoals underwater retirement home, and they try to bring the two out of retirement, much to the annoyance of the geriatric Bikini Bottom superheroes who only want their TV fixed. SpongeBob and Patrick go through all kinds of hilarious antics to reunite their superhero pals and eventually succeed, by Barnacle Boy getting tired of them and calling other former superheroes, thereby creating Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's new show: ''The New Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy''.

At night-time, a crowd of nematodes are hungry. They plow through a variety of items, even devouring the boat of a fish named Fred while Fred is still driving it. Then they decide that they are thirsty, so they drink the juice out of SpongeBob's pineapple house. This causes it to shrink until it becomes nothing. SpongeBob and Gary now have to get a new home. At first, SpongeBob and Patrick try to build a new house, but they build a very small one. Then SpongeBob shares Patrick's rock, but '''''Patrick's stupidity and horrible luck''''' causes him to go to Squidward. Squidward accepts (only because he's semi-conscious), and when he realizes what he's done, he kicks them out. The next day, SpongeBob and Gary pack their bags, ready to go back to Mom and Dad's house. He finds a small pebble (the only thing left when the nematodes ate/drank his house) in his pocket, and buries it where his house used to be. He sheds a tear on it, and he walks away. This pebble is actually a seed, and his tear causes his house to grow back. The house is placed back where it was, on top of dancing Squidward.

==Plot==
The Krusty Krab makes its very first (and only) pizza delivery of the [[Krusty Krab Pizza]] after closing time. Despite that they do not serve pizza Mr. Krabs when hearing apparently a big price offer invents a pizza by mashing Krabby Patties into a cheese, pepperoni like pizza and putting it in a box. Squidward is told to deliver it; as he wants to simply go home he asks SpongeBob to do it but Mr. Krabs misinterprets this and says "Great idea...take him with you!!" SB and Squidward prepare to deliver the pizza.

However, Squidward despite the obvious fact that SB still cannot drive yet, orders SB to drive and directs him to simply "Back it up." When he tries to shift into reverse to back up the car he backs up but when he stops he and Squidward are already in the middle of nowhere or a desert the next morning and the car is out of gas. During this drive SB reads the words of shift and gear as Korean language. Squidward in genuine regret and anger kicks the boat but ends up causing the boat to somehow get the energy to move once more and it drives off back to the Krusty Krab where it came from. SpongeBob suggests to deliver the pizza on foot, and they start walking across the desert to try to find help. SpongeBob starts singing a song about the Krusty Krab Pizza, and how it is the best pizza on the sea floor. Hours later they get whirled into a hurricane/tornado, and Squidward tells SpongeBob to let go of the pizza, but the pizza saves their lives when SpongeBob transforms it into a parachute. SpongeBob shows Squidward some pioneer tricks, such as hitchhiking, eating coral, telling where civilization is by looking at what direction moss points, and even driving rocks.

The eternally skeptic Squidward does not believe SpongeBob, but has to reconsider when he is run over by the somehow driving rock and he grabs on as they end up driving the rock all the way to the customer's house. Sadly, their journey did not pay off too well; the customer, Tom, gets extremely angry that he did not get the soda he says he ordered (which he ordered but at that time, Mr Krabs put the phone down). SpongeBob starts crying (and absorbs his tears). Angered that the customer made SpongeBob cry, Squidward knocks on the door and puts the pizza into Tom's mouth by brutally shoving it in his face. After the confrontation, the two drive back to work, which ironically is only a few feet away, but Squidward is already very worn out from the long pizza delivery.

SpongeBob is excited because his Mrs. Puff's Boating School's driving exam is today. He can't even remember how many times he took it, so Gary must remind him. If he passes it, he will get his license. First, he must pass the oral section of the exam. Having taken the exam thirty-seven times previously, SpongeBob is able to answer the questions before they are even asked. However, he panics in the boat and flunks the driving portion of the exam. Later that night, Patrick attempts to cheer SpongeBob up with a "surprise", but SpongeBob is too depressed to laugh. He explains his problem to Patrick and mentions that he needs someone to help him think straight during the exam. Patrick quickly devises a plan. He puts a walkie-talkie inside SpongeBob's head so that he can talk SpongeBob through the test, hiding the antenna with a large cowboy hat.

The next day, SpongeBob goes back to take the test again. When asked to start the boat, he initially panics, but Patrick's instructions keep him calm. This is followed by a video montage of SpongeBob acting the exam, interspersed with shots of Patrick eating SpongeBob's food and reading his diary while helping him. Mrs. Puff is floored by his sudden improvement and jokingly suggests that SpongeBob's success is due to an antenna under his hat through which "some guy miles away is giving him all the answers." SpongeBob (and Patrick) finds this hilarious, until Mrs. Puff concludes, "But that would be cheating!" Upon realizing that he has been cheating, SpongeBob goes into hysterics, driving wildly all over the course and sobbing while Mrs. Puff tries desperately to stop him. He crashes the boat and thus flunks the test yet another time. In the end as Mrs. Puff is about to go to the hospital, SpongeBob apologizes for letting him down, and says he'll try harder next semester.

They find this amusing and become friends again, but because they drank so many glasses of pop (SpongeBob drank 14 glasses and Patrick drank 12), their burps create a whole load of bubbles that make Squidward's house collapse. At the end, Squidward never put his key in the door, but he was able to open it anyway. He sees the whole place destroyed and tells himself that he made a mistake. They find this amusing and become friends again, but because they drank so many glasses of pop (SpongeBob drank 14 glasses and Patrick drank 12), their burps create a whole load of bubbles that make Squidward's house collapse. At the end, Squidward never put his key in the door, but he was able to open it anyway. He sees the whole place destroyed and tells himself that he made a mistake. SpongeBob mentions that he and Patrick are best friends again. After Squidward furiously tells them to get out of his house, he angrily slams the door. Then, a bubble just hit the door, which fell on Squidward's back. Squidward then cries, "Oh, oh... my back!"

*In the first scene when SpongeBob is thinking about having new friends, he suddenly has five fingers before drawing his skin with a pen, but in the full shot of his hand, there are the usual four fingers.
