This episode starts when SpongeBob is taking a Boating School lesson with Mrs. Puff - a police car decides to pursue them upon which SpongeBob and Mrs. Puff crash into a truck in front of a retirement home. Mrs. Puff is arrested and SpongeBob goes to see Patrick - together they plan to get Mrs. Puff out of jail. Later SpongeBob and Patrick try to rob a bank in order to be put in jail but they are unsuccessful. Their next plan is to turn into rocks to get in jail and this time they succeed.

SpongeBob and Patrick encounter Mrs. Puff who is frightened by their appearance - another woman takes a hammer and crushes the rocks that are really SpongeBob and Patrick.

Later when Mrs. Puff is on kitchen duty she sees SpongeBob and patrick again - Patrick eats all the chilli: Mrs. Puff screams at them again and the guards order her back to her cell.

SpongeBob and Patrick disguise themselves as prison guards, then the real guards appear and Mrs. Puff, who is confused, doesn't believe that they are the real guards and she removes their faces. Later the real guards put Mrs. Puff in a solitary confinement cell that was made of sponge, the Sponge being SpongeBob. Then she wakes up and this time SpongeBob gets arrested and Mrs. Puff is happy that she was not arrested and a guard tells her that she already did her time in jail. Mrs. Puff appears to forget her time in jail, or is disorientated by the sequence of events.

*When the guard throws Mrs. Puff in the yellow room, there is a rubber ducky. When SpongeBob starts laughing, the ducky disappears.

==Plot==
One day Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy decide to eat at the Krusty Krab. Mermaid Man does not have any money to pay for the food they order. Barnacle Boy asked Squidward for any discount and Squidward got mad at him. Barnacle Boy then paid the money they owe for the food. Squidward got angry and said: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy in a negative way. SpongeBob over heard Squidward and tried to find a pen and a paper to get their autograph. Mean while Mermaid Man demonstrates Barnacle Boy how to be big and strong. He removes his belt and his huge stomach was revealed. SpongeBob then ran towards Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. They saw SpongeBob coming and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy left. Mermaid Man forgot his belt and SpongeBob tries to return it. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy try to find the invisible boat mobile and went home. SpongeBob unfortunately did not return the belt and he decided to wear it. SpongeBob went back to the kitchen and wonders what does the M button do.

SpongeBob pushed the button and the pickles shrunken. SpongeBob had an idea and shrunk the whole kitchen. Squidward then saw the kitchen shrunk and spots the belt. He then ask SpongeBob what is that and Squidward found out it was Mermaid Man's belt. Squidward then quotes: I can't believe he lend it to you. SpongeBob said he could not believe it either. Squidward then accuse SpongeBob he stole the belt. Squidward tells SpongeBob he will call Mermaid Man about the belt. SpongeBob was scared and does not want him to find out. SpongeBob shrunk Squidward. Squidward was then very angry and told SpongeBob to unshrink him. SpongeBob unfortunately cannot unshrink him. SpongeBob then asked Patrick for help. Patrick answered SpongeBob and said the belt is set to M for mini while it should be set to W for "wumbo". SpongeBob says wumbo is not a real word. Patrick then said wumbo is first grade and said more stuff about wumbo like wumbology and the study of wumbo. SpongeBob then set it into W then he accidentally shrunk Patrick too. SpongeBob then put then in a jar to keep them safe. People then greets SpongeBob and SpongeBob shrunk every people who greets him. SpongeBob then shrunk everybody in Bikini Bottom including Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. The people asked how to unshrink them. Mermaid Man answered SpongeBob if he set is to wumbo. Everybody got mad at him and got inside of SpongeBob. They are destroying the insides of SpongeBob. Everybody then shouted: "Everything is too big!". SpongeBob got an idea and shrank Bikini Bottom and then he shrunk himself. Everything is now back to normal then Plankton came and he is now bigger than the city of Bikini Bottom.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*SpongeBob turns the "M" on [[Mermaid Man's Belt]] upside down to "W" to set it to "Wumbo" to re-size Squidward. A few moments later in the same scene, it is an "M" again, without him ever touching it.
*[[The Invisible Boat Mobile]]'s color is pink Cadillac when visible. However, when SpongeBob and Patrick paint half of the boat mobile, or when they run it into a streetlight, it appears to be shaped like a boat..
*When SpongeBob shrinks himself, Mermaid Man's belt disappears.
*SpongeBob cannot get the citizens of Bikini Bottom to grow back to normal, but in "[[Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy]]" SpongeBob mentions a ray that made stuff grow 6 times their original size. It is possible that SpongeBob does not know where this ray is.
*When SpongeBob is shrinking people as soon as he greet him, there is a fish who greets him "What's up, Sponge?". This is a parody of a Warner Brothers iconic cartoon character Bugs Bunny quote "What's up, doc?"

==Plot==
A TV delivery truck comes and delivers a box with a TV inside it to SpongeBob and Patrick. However, they throw the TV away and jump in the box. Squidward comes and asks what they are doing. SpongeBob and Patrick say that they are using their imagination and ask Squidward to play with them. Squidward refuses and gets the TV from the trash can. Squidward then hears them start, it sounds like their mountain climbing inside the box. Squidward, annoyed by the sounds, kicks the box, causing an avalanche. Worried that SpongeBob and Patrick are really hurt, he taps the box, causing another avalanche. After hearing that the two's limbs are frozen and they need to cut them off, he opens the box in fear and finds out that it was nothing but sound effects. He closes the box and hears helicopter noises. He opens the box and questions SpongeBob and Patrick of how they can make the sound effects. Patrick says that Squidward needs a box and SpongeBob replies "and imagination." Squidward says that he has more imagination then the two. He goes back to his house and gets a hat box. He goes inside it but cannot make the sound effects. He kicks the box and police noises are heard. Thinking the police were there to arrest him, he goes outside to say sorry. He then realizes that the sounds are coming from the box. Angered, he kicks the hat box over to SpongeBob and Patrick and take the hat box. He goes inside to watch TV, but when he turns it on the only shows on were about boxes.

He then hears rocket noises. Squidward then imagines that SpongeBob and Patrick have a tape recorder. He opens the box tells SpongeBob to give up the tape recorder. SpongeBob tells Squidward that they don't have a tape recorder, which Squidward refuses to believe. He hops inside the box to find out how their making the sound effects. But when they start, SpongeBob and Patrick only say random robot and pirate phrases (beep beep, for that you will walk the plank, etc.) with no sounds heard. He goes back to his house and keeps thinking about the box. He decides to sneak into the box while SpongeBob and Patrick are sleeping. He goes inside the box but finds no buttons or tape recorders. He pretends to drive a race car and hears the sounds. But in truth, a garbage truck is picking up the box and taking it to the dump. The next morning, SpongeBob and Patrick find out that their box is gone. They decide to go see Squidward. After that the episode ends.

It is a normal day in the boating school until SpongeBob meets a new student in his Boating class, Flats. Flats threatens to "kick his butt" and SpongeBob panics. He tries to escape but is unable to. SpongeBob turns to Mrs. Puff for help but she does not seem to get his point and tells Flats what SpongeBob has said about him, thus making things even worse. Flats's father is also unable to help SpongeBob, and tells him that he will also now have his butt kicked by Flats, who suddenly appears. Back inside the school, the phone rings; SpongeBob answers it and hears Patrick on the line. SpongeBob asked Patrick for help, but Patrick reveals that he and Flats were college buddies.

Flats continues to pursue SpongeBob outside school but during the course of his pursuit is badly injured when a truck he is driving overturns. Flats ends up in hospital, his life having been saved by SpongeBob. However even now he is determined to kick SpongeBob's butt.

When Flats finally gets a chance to kick SpongeBob’s butt, he gets angry because, as SpongeBob is a sponge, he absorbs Flat's punch. Flats continues to punch Spongebob until they are back in school - Flats gets so tired of beating SpongeBob up, he collapses as SpongeBob gives a little speech about bullying. SpongeBob has his arm raised during his sppech, but at that moment Mrs. Puff comes in and sees SpongeBob's raised fist and Flats laying on the floor. Mrs. Puff misunderstands, believing that SpongeBob had beaten up Flats and cries angrily to SpongeBob that "I'm gonna kick your butt!"

== Plot ==
It is now Springtime in [[Bikini Bottom]], Patrick emerges under his rock wearing a purple sweater...Patrick strips the sweater and buries it under the sand like a dog would. Here's a narration from the episode:

NARRATOR: ''"Ah, springtime in Bikini Bottom. All sea creatures have an innate sense of the seasonal changes. Like the starfish. A quick survey of his environment and he knows that…"''

PATRICK: ''"It's spring!"''

NARRATOR: ''"The starfish then sheds his winter coat and stores it away safe for winter."''

SpongeBob comes out of his house and begins to greet the flowers after stating that he has Spring Fever. Squidward emerges from his home as well, and after some convincing from SpongeBob, he too says hello to the flowers. The flowers react like an aggravated cat, hissing at Squidward, causing him to run into his house screaming. SpongeBob says he shall do him a kindness and plant him some hypo-allergenic flowers.

Cue SpongeBob wearing a gardening outfit, including a sun hat, overalls, and clogs. He first plants a coral flower, and turns to grab the watering can to water said flower only to turn back around and find the flower bitten in half. He continues this routine of planting flowers and turning his back until he states, ''"I'm not taking my eyes off you."'' Three days later, he still has not moved his eyes, and in fact has to water them because they have dried out. Patrick walks by and draws SpongeBob’s attention – SpongeBob turns back, and the flower is gone again. SpongeBob finally sees the seahorse, which has been eating the flowers, which then runs away and starts neighing on top of a rock.

He decides to tame her and writes a scientific journal of sorts about her mysterious qualities, and hence names her Mystery. The seahorse spots SpongeBob’s floral bookmark and approaches him. Apparently eating the book mark was enough to tame the seahorse, as the show switches to a montage with 60's psychedelic backgrounds of the two of them frolicking together, enjoying piggy back rides, painting, blowing bubbles, and even going to the hat store...

At the end of the day, SpongeBob lets the horse sleep in his bed and promises that they will be friends forever. The next day, he rides past Squidward on his bike - which hits a rock sending Squidward off a cliff and into a massive explosion. Once arriving at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob ties up Mystery outside like in old western movies. Then, Scooter arrives with his friend, mistaking Mystery for a kiddie ride. As he finds a quarter, he tries to look for it, saying, ''"I can't find the coin slot. Here it is!"'', and Mystery kicks Scooter and into a massive explosion. ''"YAAHH! Help! Kiddie ride on the loose!",'' screams Scooter's friend. Mr. Krabs runs to the scene and is shocked. "A monster! Scaring away me customers." He demands that the horse be gotten rid of because he is scaring off the customers stating, ''"It’s either you or Mystery."''

SpongeBob has Mystery shoved in a cupboard, and tells her that she only needs to stay there until Patrick finishes the stable he asked him to build – Cue a shot of Patrick with a board nailed to his forehead sitting with a blank look on his face. SpongeBob starts to go back to his job, with only eight more hours in his job left. ''"Only eight more hours,"'' says SpongeBob.

Twelve seconds later, Mystery peers out of the cupboard, and SpongeBob tells her, ''"No, Mystery, you can’t come out yet. If old man Krabs sees you, I’ll lose my job."'', and knows that he's hungry. ''"How about some lunch?"'', says SpongeBob and Mystery eats a Krabby Patty, but then he neighs, and then SpongeBob warns him, because Krabs has heard it, and asks, ''"Is that horse here?"'', and SpongeBob says, ''"No, Mr. Krabs. I was just doing my imitation of Mystery"'', and he does a fake, pathetic neigh. ''"Well, keep working on it. That was terrible!"'', said Mr. Krabs, and he walks out, and SpongeBob is relieved and he says, ''"That was close. And from now on, no more hijinks."''

''"Order up!"'' Squidward comes to the window, but Mystery eats the order before Squidward gets there. SpongeBob thinks that the Krusty Krab is haunted, and before SpongeBob can leave, Squidward says, ''"SpongeBob, there's no ghosts!"'' ''"Oh"'', says SpongeBob. Squidward starts lecturing SpongeBob; meanwhile Mystery is stealing customers’ orders from their tables.

Here's his lecture as it follows:

''"In case you’ve forgotten, here’s how things work. I order the food, you cook the food, the customer gets the food. We do that for forty years and then we die. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, what do you say?"''

Squidward then sees Mystery as SpongeBob puts Mystery back in the cupboard yelling, ''"Don’t tell Mr. Krabs! I got it all under control! Now then, you were saying"'', and Squidward says, ''"Just get my order!"'' and he walks out. And SpongeBob laughs and says, ''"Ghosts."''
Mystery eats SpongeBob’s hat, [[spatula]], all of the [[Krabby Patties]], the stove, and old man Jenkins. And from Mystery's stomach, we hear ''"I don’t want to be a burden."''

The customers get aggravated and start to revolt. Then Squidward says, ''"Folks, we have a minor situation going on in the kitchen"'', and a man asks him, ''"Where’s our food?"'' Another man yells, ''"I’m so hungry!"'', a woman says, ''"This is my only lunch hour!"'' and Tom asks ''"Where’s Old Man Jenkins?"'' Then, Squidward says, ''"Take it easy, the food’s no good here anyway."''

This causes Mr. Krabs to come out and ask Squidward ''"Squidward, what is going on here!"'', to which he replies, ''"Why don’t you go ask Cowbob RanchPants and his faithful companion Sir Eats a Lot?"''

Mystery belches up old man Jenkins, apparently after getting a bellyache because of eating all the Krabby Patties. Mr. Krabs walks in, and thinks he is seeing things, but he isn't and demands that the horse be gotten rid of, and SpongeBob pleads with him not to be gotten rid of. ''"No, Mr. Krabs! Don’t make me give up Mystery! I know you think she’s just a horse, but she’s more than that, I tell you. She listens to me. She understands everything I say and I understand her! She’s my best friend!"'' Mr. Krabs is touched by the story and continues on to tell SpongeBob about the story of his best friend, Krabs says ''"I was five years old and me father gave me a dollar. I loved that dollar, loved it like a brother. Me and that dollar went everywhere together."'' Then SpongeBob asks, ''"What happened to the dollar, Mr. Krabs?"'' Then Krabs answers, ''"And one day at the beach, it was so hot and I was so thirsty! I spent it on a soda. My best friend!"'' and starts to weep. After regaining his composure he states that ''"The kitchen is no place for a life horse!"'', which causes the customers spit out their food.

SpongeBob takes Mystery outside and tells her, ''"You belong in the wild."'' He turns his back on her and the horse walks away and he says, ''"Well, what're you waiting for? ==Plot==
At the Krusty Krab, Old Man Jenkins grabs a bottle of ketchup and heads to a table. Since he is old, he accidentally shoots it at a wall. Plankton is inside a capsule that is inside the bottle of ketchup, and does not expect this. He has been fired, through the wall, and landed in Eugene H. Krabs office. Mr. Krabs throws him back to the Chum Bucket, and he tries to think of a new plan. His W.I.F.E insists that he uses the machine he made last Tuesday. So he used the machine to swap lives with Mr. Krabs (and gets rid of Mr. Krabs), then he woke up in Mr. Krabs' desk. There is a name plate reading ''Mr. Plankton'', and there is a photo of him with Mr. Krabs' teenaged daughter, Pearl. He only cares about the Krabby Patties, and neglects everyone else. SpongeBob is promoted to co-cashier, where he tears the restaurant down. Squidward Tentacles is at the grill and makes horrible garbage burgers, because he says he likes his life to be a little less yellow ( without SpongeBob). Then, Pearl Krabs rushes into the Krusty Krab, and she asks Plankton to have some allowance.

Plankton gives her only 1 dollar, and Pearl cries and cries until Plankton swallows all the tear water, then tom presses hard on Plankton and tells him SpongeBob and Squidward gave him a nasty patty and a large-sized soda(I soiled the name of the Krusty Krab! Soiled it! Soiled it!spongebob says).Then,just as plankton gets ready to snap, an alarm goes off, and the naked Mr. Krabs (who is now playing Plankton's role as the villain), now named "Krabs",comes in, destroying the restaurant and trying to steal the Krabby Patty formula. SpongeBob SquarePants shoots a bikini at Krabs, and he must throw the Krabby Patty back. Then, the customers have a *victory screech*, and Krabs says that he'll come back tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day,(then on the telephone),and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day(Plankton screams). Plankton rips out his Mr. Krabs uniform, and presses the button again to go back to the present time in real life, and then eats [[Holographic Meatloaf]].

==Plot==
It is Gary's bath-time, but he is too lazy to take a bath. SpongeBob thinks of ways to get Gary to come to the bath. He pretends to be a pirate and leads him to the bathroom. Then he tries to get Gary in the tub, but he doesn't succeed in throwing Gary in the tub because of his slimy skin. Finally SpongeBob absorbs the bathwater and chases Gary around, trying to wash him, but eventually gets stuck on a tree. SpongeBob falls off the tree and gets covered in mud, and Gary makes him take a bath.

==Cultural References==
*It is also somewhat similar to Martin Stellman's ''Dor Queen and Country''. As Denzel Washington's character, Reuben James, turned vigilant to clean up his crime-infested neighborhood in London which he did as he would walk off into the night, SpongeBob tried anything to get Gary clean but he ends up getting dirtier and has to take a bath instead.

*This episode is not on Nick UK. It was banned. But after 7 years on October 31, 2008 this episode was aired in the UK along with episode [[Shanghaied]].
*This episode runs 6 minutes and about 30 seconds long. It was the third episode running less than 11 minutes. The first two were the episodes: [[Help Wanted]] and [[Reef Blower]].
*Despite the title, Gary never actually takes a bath.
*This is the only episode that had only one voice actor; which was [[Tom Kenny]].
*When SpongeBob hands Gary the soap and the duck, and after he says "I don't know what a snail would want with a brooch!", in the next shot the soap and the duck are gone.
*It is later revealed that SpongeBob's room is on a 3rd floor.
