== Plot ==

SpongeBob is outside his house when he receives his paper and takes the rubber band off the newspaper and places it halfway between his bodies. Patrick comes by and he has done the same thing with his body and they both leave to go to their houses. They both hear a little squeaking and they get upset with each other. Patrick and SpongeBob look on the ground and find a baby scallop and decide to raise it by themselves. Then the baby scallop begins to cry because he is hungry, and SpongeBob and Patrick Try to feed him with a krabby patty, a small version (Pipsqueak patty) a doughnut and french fries. all this fails. until the find a worm to feed him in an apple. the worm's last words were "WE WILL BURY YOU!!!!!!!" before he met his demise. afterward, Junior goes crazy and Patrick knows why. he then puts a diaper on him. They decide that they would be the mother and father of the baby clam. SpongeBob decides to be the mom while Patrick is the father. Patrick wanted to be the mother, but SpongeBob said that Patrick never wears a shirt. They then decide to start working on their parenting tasks.Patrick starts going to work and leaves SpongeBob at home with the baby clam, Junior. Everyday SpongeBob is working so hard vacuuming, holding Junior, ironing, and cooking. When Patrick comes home he says that he would help SpongeBob take care of Junior, but cannot do anything to help SpongeBob out around the house. Patrick said that he would come home early to come and help SpongeBob around the house. Instead of coming home early Patrick comes back at midnight and SpongeBob comes out in a nightgown and is upset with him.Patrick is upset with SpongeBob and they have a big argument until Patrick says he is going to go back to work. Patrick walked to his rock and turned on the TV. SpongeBob followed him and asked him if that is what he called his job, watching TV. Patrick said that it was very hard to do because sometimes his butt itches or he has to move the antenna. They start yelling at each other until they see that Junior was about to fall out of the window and they make up and try to save him. They are too late to save Junior, but Junior ends up flying because he was all grown up. Junior flies away and leaves off on his own life, and SpongeBob now realizes that he has helped a scallop, so Patrick decides to have another. (This is a joke!)

Despite the show's popularity, SpongeBob has endured controversy, though this is not new for [[Nickelodeon]]; many of its cartoons, including Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, The Angry Beavers, Invader Zim and The Fairly OddParents, have sparked controversy in one way or another. [[SpongeBob]]'s popularity has made its controversy more noticeable and larger scale.

SpongeBob was relatively uncontroversial during the first two seasons and the beginning of the third season. SpongeBob and Patrick's close friendship in many episodes (including an episode where they hold hands) led some viewers to the conclusion that SpongeBob and Patrick were homosexual. In the 2002 episode "Rock-A-Bye-Bivalve", SpongeBob and Patrick adopt a baby scallop, furthering the rumor because of its implications that the two make major life decisions together as a monogamous couple would. SpongeBob sometimes wears cosmetics and dresses in women's clothing, often cited as evidence of his homosexuality. Independent of assumptions, the cartoon's acceptance and optimism have made it popular within parts of the real-life gay community. Steven Hillenburg stated in 2002 that [[SpongeBob]] is asexual.

According to the episode, Bubble Buddy is extremely fussy. [[SpongeBob]] was constantly telling [[Squidward]] to change the patties so they would be to Bubble Buddies liking. After eating at the [[Krusty Krab]], the two friends go to the lovely [[Goo Lagoon]]. They cause serious amounts of trouble like staying in the 'Port O Head' for 2 hours, making people have to wait with numerous drink seller beside them, and indirectly insulting some weight lifters. He also ends up drowning [[Scooter]] (comes back in later episodes) and offending people. Unfortunately, the town of [[Bikini Bottom]] had enough of Bubble Buddy and they all tried to pop him.

==Plot==
Plankton discovers Mr. Krabs weakness, and that is his thermostat. Plankton sneaks into the Krusty Krab and touched his thermostat making the Krusty Krab as cold as ice. When SpongeBob and Squidward entered the Krusty Krab it was slippery and cold inside. Squidward tries to serve the customer's food but unfortunately he can't, because it was too slippery. The customers soon left the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob then tied Patties on his feet making patty skates. The customers soon return and they also want to try patty skates. Mr. Krabs was making more money than ever, He was selling twice as many patties without cooking them. Plankton then tries to go to the Krusty Krab to try to get a patty. Plankton could not get a patty and he soon reveal the thermostat was not set on 62 degrees. He soon messes the thermostat making it hot and cold over and over again, but his last attempt made him slip and fall then Mr. Krabs made it cold again, making Plankton frozen solid. After Mr. Krabs' ice rink, he now turns it into a swimming pool. Plankton was iced in a drink then Mr. Krabs talked to him then he drank the drink and Plankton screams.

*When SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs entered the Krusty Krab which was frozen, the grill was seen frozen a few seconds later. After the Krusty Krab became special when SpongeBob was skating with two frozen [[Krabby Patties]], a customer said that she wants SpongeBob to give her two frozen Krabby Patties, uncooked, SpongeBob gave the customers cooked instead of raw and how can SpongeBob cook them if the grill was frozen?

==Plot==
The episode starts out with the song, "Best Day Ever." Afterward, SpongeBob's "Best Day Ever" does not turn out as he planned when he has to postpone his activities to help his friends with their problems. He wanted to work at the Krusty Krab, have some karate with Sandy, go jellyfishing with Patrick using his new high-tech jellyfishing net, and then go to Squidward's clarinet recital. First, he ran over to the Krusty Krab, only to find that it was condemned due to a severe nematode infestation. SpongeBob led them away by playing the flute on his nose, in which they become hypnotized, and then they fell asleep, like the story of the Pied Piper. He then goes to Sandy's treedome for karate, but Sandy says that she is too busy with a leak in her dome that is letting water in. SpongeBob fixes it as he goes flying to the roof and his karate glove sticks to the crack. Afterwards, he heads over to Jellyfish Fields to go jellyfishing with Patrick, but Patrick broke his net, and then broke SpongeBob's old net. SpongeBob gives Patrick his brand-new net, and had nothing to Jellyfish with. SpongeBob meets up with Squidward, who says that he cannot play in the concert because his clarinet reed is shot. Angry because most of his day is ruined, SpongeBob pulls out one of his teeth to replace the reed.He then tries to go in but the doorman will not let him in without a ticket, which he does not have. He tries various methods of sneaking in such as a fake SpongeBob marionette as a distraction, and cutting through the ceiling, but at last, he got inside, because he is on the VIP list. However, he gets in right as the concert ends. He is very mad that everything went wrong and gives a long and elaborate speech about how his Best Day Ever was ruined. But then, his friends tell him about how SpongeBob helped them with their problems out of his kindness and teach him it's not about "perfect days", it's about having friends. However, to make it up to him, they hold a production in which SpongeBob performs his song, "The Best Day Ever", to complete his ''real'' Best Day Ever with his friends by his side. After a few hours, SpongeBob is still singing, but his friends are tired and sleepy.

The '''Bi-Annual Jellyfish Convention''' is a convention for [[Jellyfish]]ers. It is located in a huge stadium and it has a big turnouts. There are many different things to do, like: Talk with [[Kevin the Sea Cucumber]], meet Jeffery Jellyfish, See [[Dr. Manowar]] and see him talk about his encounter with [[Big Lenny]], and interact and use many things. [[SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick]] only visit it in the episode: [[I'm Your Biggest Fanatic]]. It also was mention in episode [[I Was a Teenage Gary]].

===Layout and Concept===
The Layout of the Bi-Annual jellyfish Convention is of a fairly organized and structured convention. The exterior of the stadium is very good and it has been set up well. There is a huge sign in a red text displaying: 'WELCOME JELLYFISHERS'. There are many entrances to the inside and there are many boats surrounding the convention. Around the area of the stadium are Jellyfish shaped balloons.

Inside the stadium it is neat and of a great standard. There are many tables with different things on them such as jellyfish in jars and pictures of them. The theme of the layout is Jellyfish, as there are banners, balloons and signs all to do with Jellyfish. There is also a Jellyfish Harpoon from ''[[Jellyfish: The Movie]]''. There are also stages where people talk to the members of the crowd.

The Box is a medium, brown, cardboard box featured in two episodes. It first appears in [[Idiot Box]]. [[SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick]] use their imagination inside the box. At the end of the episode, the box is taken to the dump (With [[Squidward]] inside). Somehow, the box is returned to [[Squidward]]. The box's second appearance is in [[Can You Spare a Dime?]]. Squidward had to live inside the box after he lost his house. When Squidward decides to live with SpongeBob the box is taken to the dump again.

===Looks===
The Box looks like an ordinary box. In Idiot Box, Squidward thought that SpongeBob and Patrick were hiding a tape recorder or anything that can make sounds.

===Trivia/Goofs===
*The Box might have a secret power to shrink people that go inside The Box. A major hint is that when SpongeBob was exclaiming about what you can do inside the box, SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward seem to be only half the size of the box. But in outside shots of the box, the box is not that big.

It is Gary's bath-time, but he is too lazy to take a bath. SpongeBob thinks of ways to get Gary to come to the bath. He pretends to be a pirate and leads him to the bathroom. Then he tries to get Gary in the tub, but he doesn't succeed in throwing Gary in the tub because of his slimy skin. Finally SpongeBob absorbs the bathwater and chases Gary around, trying to wash him, but eventually gets stuck on a tree. SpongeBob falls off the tree and gets covered in mud, and Gary makes him take a bath.

==Cultural References==
*It is also somewhat similar to Martin Stellman's ''Dor Queen and Country''. As Denzel Washington's character, Reuben James, turned vigilant to clean up his crime-infested neighborhood in London which he did as he would walk off into the night, SpongeBob tried anything to get Gary clean but he ends up getting dirtier and has to take a bath instead.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*This episode is not on Nick UK. It was banned. But after 7 years on October 31, 2008 this episode was aired in the UK along with episode [[Shanghaied]].
*This episode runs 6 minutes and about 30 seconds long. It was the third episode running less than 11 minutes. The first two were the episodes: [[Help Wanted]] and [[Reef Blower]].
*Despite the title, Gary never actually takes a bath.
*This is the only episode that had only one voice actor; which was [[Tom Kenny]].
*When SpongeBob hands Gary the soap and the duck, and after he says "I don't know what a snail would want with a brooch!", in the next shot the soap and the duck are gone.

When class starts, Patrick gets SpongeBob into lots of trouble, which results in one of SpongeBob's golden stars taken off. SpongeBob faints, and Patrick responds by saying "Mrs. Puff, is it nap-time?" Mrs. Puff sends everybody to recess. Later, SpongeBob and Patrick have to go to detention because they were fighting (not really) during recess. After having a fight in the hallway, they are sent to detention, where they shout out how much they hate each other. But when SpongeBob says "I hate you even if the light that's keeping Roger (a science project) alive went out," it goes out. When SpongeBob and Patrick realize, that Roger is going to freeze to death, they spring into action. After saving Roger, Mrs. Puff comes in and says she saw everything through her one way chalkboard. As a reward, they each get one gold star. Patrick later leaves when he finally realizes he is in boating school because he thought he was in Spanish class and when Patrick says goodbye to Mrs. Puff she calls her “big fat meanie”. After this, Roger finally hatches from the egg and says " Hey, what did I miss!

Squidward is practicing his clarinet peacefully, and a doctor comes in, thinking Squidward has a sick animal. Squidward slams the door, but receives a call. He picks up the telephone, and it's Squilliam Fancyson from band class! He claims to suppose to play at the "Bubble Bowl", but cannot make it, and asks Squidward and his "band" to perform. Squidward, determined to play well, tries to get a band. Various people read the advertisements.

At 8:35, Squidward is driving over to the band rehearsal building, angry that the music rental clerk made him late. He comes in and plays six notes on his clarinet. The brass and woodwind repeat, however, the percussion section blow on their drumsticks and they hit Squidward.

Squidward's band is out marching on day two. Squidward orders the band almost perfectly, until he instructs the flag twirlers to "spin those flags". They spin the flags so quickly that they fly up like propellers into a blimp, causing their death. One of the trumpeters played "Taps", the rest of the band put their hands on their hearts, and Squidward curls up on the ground.

Squidward asks to see Plankton's harmonica solo, but it doesn't work very well because Plankton is extremely tired half way!

SpongeBob, horrified at how the band members crushed Squidward's dream, takes over conducting the band.

Squidward is shown jumping up in happiness, and the screen fades to end the episode.

*When everyone in the room is saying "blah, blah, blah," SpongeBob and Patrick are sitting next to each other. However, when Patrick asks if mayonnaise is an instrument, he is sitting next to Sandy. The only way this is possible is if SpongeBob was next to Patrick on his other side, but when Mr. Krabs asks when they get the free food, Sandy is on one side of the room (viewers' left) in the front row and SpongeBob is on the other side (viewers' right) in the center row.

He stuffed Patrick and Sandy into a bag, and smacked them on the ground and stomped on them, which made SpongeBob finally go outside. He also hangs out with [[George the Zebra]], and they most likely are friends, who he jumped onto and ran away on, when [[SpongeBob]], [[Sandy]], and [[Patrick]] wondered what a gorilla was doing underwater. He is voiced by [[Frank Welker]]. The Gorilla also appeared on episode [[Friend or Foe?]] on the [[Patchy the Pirate|Patchy]] segment, as Patchy's replacement.
