'''Eugene Harold Krabs''', better known as simply Mr. Krabs, is a fictional character on the [[Nickelodeon]] animated television comedy SpongeBob SquarePants. Eugene H. Krabs is the penny-pinching owner and founder of the [[Krusty Krab]], a fast food restaurant in Bikini Bottom. In his childhood, he formed a friendship with Sheldon J. Plankton which eventually turned into a bitter rivalry. He's the 4th main character of the show. Eugene lives with only Pearl, suggesting that he may be separated or divorced. It is more likely that Krabs is divorced, because he had a short relationship with Mrs. Puff in [[Krusty Love (Episode)|Krusty Love]].

==Early life==
Eugene H. Krabs was born November 30, 1942, along with [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]], and is the son of [[Mama Krabs]] and Victor Krabs, and grandson of Grandpa Redbeard Krabs. When Mr. Krabs and Plankton were in Poisedon Elementary, Mr. Krabs was teased because of his clothes were made out of the dumpster. After meeting a wealthy man, [[Stinky]], they decided to open their own restaurant in the dump. But after [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] gets a piece of the formula of their own, so some ingredients collapse and make the most Tastiest Patty in the Sea, calling it the "[[Krabby Patty]]". Eugene succeeds indeed, making [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] jealous wanting to steal the formula. (As learned in [[Friend or Foe? (Episode)|Friend or Foe? (Special from Season 5)]])

==Rivalry==
Sheldon J. Plankton, born on the same day as Krabs, was his best friend from birth. While at the carnival, Mr. Krabs was amazed at a penny he found, when Plankton told him all about money. In the episode "[[My Pretty Seahorse (Episode)|My Pretty Seahorse (Episode from Season 3)]]", Mr. Krabs told SpongeBob of a story about his father giving him a dollar at the age of five years old. He recalls that he loved that dollar; however, he spent it on a soda, one hot day at the beach.

===Rivalry with his Class===
Because of his family's poverty, Krabs was teased at Poseidon Elementary School, where Plankton was his only friend. The only place to get a burger in Bikini Bottom, was Stinky Burger, which was owned by a wealthy citizen, [[Stinky]]. Krabs and Plankton wanted to get a burger there but Stinky did not like them hanging around his restaurant. After seeing Stinky's wealth, this inspired Krabs and Plankton to create their own burger. When they finally completed it, no one was around to buy it. Upon seeing Old Man Jenkins there, he was the first to try the "[[Plabs burger]]". However, the burger was contaminated and Jenkins died. This caused Plankton and Krabs to argue about the burger. Plankton attempted to steal the formula, which ripped in half. Plankton took their burger batch and decided to go into business alone. A shelf in their dump restaurant collapsed, which combined certain ingredients together to form a perfect burger batch. Both Plankton and Krabs attempted to sell their separate creations separately, where only Krabs succeeded. Since the recipe is said to be an old Krabs family recipe, Mr. Krabs' accidental recipe for a burger patty combined with his family's secret sauce. This lead Mr. Krabs to start a business which lead his family out of poverty. Mr. Krabs and his family lived in a pink house where Betsy Krabs lives in the present and his bed and toys.

==Personality==
Eugene H. Krabs has always been a penny-pinching financial genius, and is obsessed with money. He once sold SpongeBob to the Flying Dutchman for 62 cents. He has given his employees a bill instead of pay because they kept goofing off (such as breathing, standing, or tying ones shoes). Once, he wanted his employees to pay him when they did things such as lollygagging, breathing, and even existing! He also attempted to retrieve a dollar (or the fragments of it) after it had been put through a blender. In Welcome to the Chum Bucket, he has a good singing voice.Mr.Krab's nose is also very, very, very, very sensitive and can smell up to anything that he detests.According to Hooky, he can smell 30,000 miles of laziness. Also, he has made the Krusty Krab's employee law that no one should take a break at the Krusty Krab up to 3 generations. Mr. Krabs also has no insurance, life insurance, car insurance, or hospital insurance as revealed in The Lost Mattress because he's a very, very greedy and cheap man who never likes to spend his money.

==Career==
Mr. Krabs' career began after a war, where he was secluded in a deep depression that seemed endless. He bought a pirate ship and became a pirate but then sold his ship and bought a local bankrupt retirement home, "The Rusty Krab," which he decided to turn into a restaurant, adding a K to "Rusty". He decided to go into business selling his family's Krabby Patty burger. It was revealed to be a family secret in "[[Dunces and Dragons (Episode)|Dunces and Dragons (Special from Season 4)]]." and it was [[King Krabs]] who named the burger, back in the Middle Ages. In 1959, a chum famine wiped out all of the chum crops, causing Krabs to give no breaks to his employees.

The [[Krusty Krab]] has come close to going out of business due to such rival restaurants as the aforementioned [[Chum Bucket]], Pretty Patty stand, and [[KelpShake]]s just to name a few. The building is also in serious disrepair, as its walls ooze green slime, and it has seriously faulty electrical wiring. Mr. Krabs' idea of maintenance is to simply place giant bandages on cracks in the walls, which obviously is inadequate. Also, in one episode, only half of the Krusty Krab is lit and other is in the dark (Krab's reason was that he shouldn't need to light the entire restaurant).

An Olympics-type sporting event that was started about 1981, called The Fry Cook Games, runs every year. Krabs and [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] compete in the games, in which Krabs hopes to glorify his restaurant. Mr. Krabs won gold one year for a challenge by lifting a pickles-dumbell, however lost to Plankton in the Onion-Ring Routine.

In the [[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] SquarePants Movie, Mr. Krabs opened [[The Krusty Krab 2]], right next to the original burger stand, where [[Squidward Tentacles|Squidward]] is chosen to be the manager (much to SpongeBob's dismay)... that is until the end of the movie, where SpongeBob becomes its manager.

Krabs sometimes identifies himself as a sailor, most likely because he did serve in the Navy at one point and he's from a pirate dynasty. The Navy was where he earned the tough manly nickname "Armor Abs Krabs". During his service, he was the chief janitor on the S.S. Gourmet and "head chef" on the "S.S. Diarrhea". Sometimes when he appears onscreen, sailor's music is played; Krabs uses sea-faring vocabulary; he calls his staff his 'crew', and the disagreement as 'mutiny', calls the bathroom the head while his laugh is also appropriate ('Ar 'ar 'ar 'ar 'ar'). In contrast to his namesake, Krabs is something of a miser; he is known to go insane if he has to give up so much as a penny. In "Born Again Krabs", he gave SpongeBob up to the [[Flying Dutchman]] for only sixty-two cents, but repented later. When customers leave the restaurant because they do not like the food (which is usually due to SpongeBob or Squidward's inaccuracies), he uses catchphrases - these include "That's me money walkin' out the door!", or "There's gonna be a few changes around here!"

However, he's a caring and thoughtful crab; he appreciates his employees, SpongeBob SquarePants and Squidward Tentacles (who help keep his restaurant afloat), dotes on his daughter, [[Pearl Krabs]], and in one episode, he found his second love (after money), Mrs. Puff (in "Krusty Love"). Mr. Krabs' arch-rival and somewhat friend is Sheldon J. Plankton, the owner of rival restaurant the Chum Bucket across the street from his establishment. Plankton later shot his former best friend through grief and revenge. He has a mother, Mama Krabs, who lives in a near identical version of his anchor home, except it is pink. His address was also revealed to be 3541 Anchor Way. Mr. Krabs tries to keep it cheap when purchasing anything, even though he's the richest crab in the ocean, which often results in Pearl becoming extremely disappointed in her gifts, such as on her 16th birthday or the infamous Squeaky Boots. Mr. Krabs also owns a pet worm named "[[Mr. Doodles]]" as seen in the episode "As Seen On TV" and "Sandy's Rocket". It is also shown in the episode Mid-Life Crustacean that he can extend his arms to great distances to collect items. Even though he's a cheapskate he will not use anything but the best ingredients in his Krabby Patties and is against them being manufactured probably since the Secret Formula is his pride or he just realizes that if he uses cheap ingredients people will stop coming.

==Trivia==
*Whenever Mr. Krabs - on every occasion - would take a customer's order, he never actually gets to finish it. This is due to the fact that he always is ordering for a robot (Plankton), a squeaking fish, etc.

In very fine print at the bottom of the poster, it lists "other stars". This includes an entry that reads "Eugene 'Gunner' Krabs". This could mean that Mr. Krabs' nickname is "Gunner". He possibly got this nickname during his military service. That one poster in ''Lights, Camera, Pants!'' is the only time the nickname has ever been used.

The Lifeguard appears in many episodes that feature [[Goo Lagoon]]. He works with other lifeguards, like [[Larry the Lobster|Larry]]. He has a great attittude and was only heard mad in the episode [[Ripped Pants (Episode)|Ripped Pants]]. He is the only other lifeguard besides Larry. When someone isn't drowning, he sits in a tower that says "Lifeguard" on it.

In Karen's first appearance, Plankton planned to use her analyzer program to decipher the [[Krabby Patty]] formula. Karen and Plankton argue amongst themselves for [[Plankton]] had installed a nagging software to Karen. Karen finds Plankton's first name -Sheldon- funny, as we see in [[Plankton's Army (Episode)|Plankton's Army]]

Plankton refers to Karen sarcastically as "the wind beneath my wings" when he has had enough of her nagging on one occasion in the episode [[Krabs a la Mode (Episode)|Krabs a la Mode]].

In the movie, Karen had a minor role. This was the first time Karen is seen in an updated form; Karen is smaller and now has wheels. Plankton also installed a button into Karen that would help him succeed in Plan Z and take over [[Bikini Bottom]]. Plankton actually controlled his own wife to take over the local town until SpongeBob freed her in the movie.

SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally anger the Flying Dutchman by riding a lawn mower through his graveyard and shavng his beard. With firey anger, Flying Dutchman curses them – and turns them into ghosts! The Flying Dutchman tells them that the curse wil be broken when his beard grows back... in 1,000 years! SpongeBob and Patrick decide to go with their life as normal as ghosts. However, they have disadvantages. First, they can't scare Squidward (for no apparent reason). Second, SpongeBob can't sleep on his house's top floor. Third, Patrick can see through his eyelids, making him wide awake, and finally, SpongeBob is unable to cook Krabby Patties at the Krusty Krab. He breaks Spat in anger and Spat's ghost rises up. Soon, they turn to the Flying Dutchman begging to become normal again, but he says that if they help him prepare for his date with a beard, the curse will be broken in a few months. After several attempts, SpongeBob poses as the Flying Dutchman's beard. Several months later, SpongeBob and Patrick return to normal, and the Flying Dutchman's beard is back. The Flying Dutchman comes to SpongeBob and Patrick, saying his girlfriend wants to be married and he hates the marryin' times. At the end of the episode, the Flying Dutchman's girlfriend is seen as he runs away from her.

Gary goes downstairs and Puffy Fluffy is a monster raiding the fridge! It sets SpongeBob's house on fire. Gary puts it out, then SpongeBob wakes up and finds Puffy Fluffy about to eat Gary. It puts Gary down and tries to eat SpongeBob! Gary saves the day and the monster runs off. And the funny thing is, SpongeBob blamed the house burning on GARY even though he saw Puffy Fluffy eating Gary! Afterwards, SpongeBob takes Gary to the Krusty Krab as something he will do from now on. When Mr. Krabs sees this as "free labor", he offers Gary a spatula to cook Krabby Patties. Gary, though, doesn't seem to like this.

==Plot==
SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally anger the Flying Dutchman by riding a lawn mower through his graveyard and shavng his beard. With firey anger, Flying Dutchman curses them – and turns them into ghosts! The Flying Dutchman tells them that the curse wil be broken when his beard grows back... in 1,000 years! SpongeBob and Patrick decide to go with their life as normal as ghosts. However, they have disadvantages. First, they can't scare Squidward (for no apparent reason). Second, SpongeBob can't sleep on his house's top floor. Third, Patrick can see through his eyelids, making him wide awake, and finally, SpongeBob is unable to cook Krabby Patties at the Krusty Krab. He breaks Spat in anger and Spat's ghost rises up. Soon, they turn to the Flying Dutchman begging to become normal again, but he says that if they help him prepare for his date with a beard, the curse will be broken in a few months. After several attempts, SpongeBob poses as the Flying Dutchman's beard. Several months later, SpongeBob and Patrick return to normal, and the Flying Dutchman's beard is back. The Flying Dutchman comes to SpongeBob and Patrick, saying his girlfriend wants to be married and he hates the marryin' times. At the end of the episode, the Flying Dutchman's girlfriend is seen as he runs away from her.

*It was shown during a marathon on Nickelodeon called Shriek Week.
*In [[Sun Bleached]], Squidward was afraid of SpongeBob because he thought he was a ghost and that he thinks he was going to haunt him. However, in this episode, he was not afraid and sprayed him and Patrick.
*This is the second time SpongeBob and Patrick were ghosts. The first time was [[Pranks a Lot]], although they weren't really ghosts, they were just invisible because of the Invisible Spray.
*A commercial for this episode was first seen on October 19, 2009. It shows The Flying Dutchman turning [[SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick]] into ghosts, him walking into Squidward's shed, and then it shows them haunting [[Squidward]]. Finally, it shows [[SpongeBob]] hung up on the tool wall.

Then, click on the time and date that's next to the version that hasn't been vandalized.

After, click on Edit for that unvandalized version.

Then, copy everything that's on the unvandalized version.

Then, go to the current version of the page, click on Edit, then paste the version you copied over the current version of the page, click Save Page, and, Voila! You've reverted the page!

==Plot==

SpongeBob and Patrick create a "Good Neighbors Club" and they make Squidward president. Squidward wants to relax, so he tells SpongeBob and Patrick to paint all the trees in the neighborhood polka dots. Spongebob and Patrick call themselves "Good neighbors" annoying Squidward. SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally get paint on Squidward's face, and he runs outside where a passing car takes Squidward to the hospital, thinking he is sick. Later, he comes home and finds out that SpongeBob and Patrick took his Sunday Pedicure and foot massage.

When Squidward wants his feet rubbed, the hour is up. He gets mad and kicks them out of his house. He sees an ad in the newspaper for a Security System. He gets it and turns it on. SpongeBob and Patrick bring Squidward a cake, and Squidward says that SpongeBob and Patrick are threats, but the machine says "No Threat Detected." Squidward punches the machine, and the machine says Squidward is a threat. Squidward was kicked out of his house, and his house starts to destroy the town. SpongeBob and Patrick turn the security system off, and Squidward's House falls on him. The episode ends with Squidward looking crazy. However, what happens? In order to pay off the damages done to Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward have to do community service every Sunday for the rest of their lives. Ironically, they do not have to in the rest of the episodes.

*When Squidward relaxes at the end, he is past the houses, but when his house is put back, Squidward is put back between the houses.

==Plot==
SpongeBob and Patrick are at a Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy fan club meeting, where they learn a new movie will be made based on the heroes... played by younger actors. SpongeBob tells the club members that they must boycott the movie, but he and Patrick just get thrown out of the building. Instead, the boys go to Shady Shoals and tell Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy that Drippy Brothers Studios is making a movie about them with new actors. The heroes find the news horrible. Patrick suggests they make their own movie. Everybody likes the idea.

After coming up with ideas, SpongeBob Squarepants and the crew (Sandy Cheeks, Pearl Krabs, Eugene H. Krabs, Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy) meet to make the movie. SpongeBob is in charge of the movie. Squidward, the makeup artist, prepares the actors for the movie. Sandy is in charge of using the dynamite for explosion scenes. Mr. Krabs will cater the crew while Pearl is the leading lady. Patrick's the cameraman and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are the stars. Plankton auditions for [[ManRay]], but can't have the part because the villain's not in the movie, so he works the boom instead. Mermaid Man has trouble with one of his lines and it takes 5,003 takes to get it right until Plankton accidentally shoves the boom into his mouth.

A scene is filmed where Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy ride their boat mobile (Pearl as [[The Invisible Boat Mobile]]) to Kelp-Thing's hideout. Pearl is too heavy to pull, so Nat, who is pulling her speed off the mountain, crashing into the sets. Mr. Krabs would cater the crew and Pearl was the leading lady. Patrick filmed it with the lens cap on, with everything destroyed; there is no footage of the movie. SpongeBob, who goes berserk, knows the movie is ruined. Mermaid Man convinces him to finish the movie and goes on.

Mr. Krabs has a premiere night for SpongeBob's production in his restaurant, hoping to make a bundle from the movie. The leader of the Mermaidman and Barnacleboy Fan Club does pay a lot of money to buy 200 tickets on opening night, but only because the Drippy Bros. production is sold out, and the entire fan club (except SpongeBob, Patrick, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy) does not like it because it looks like an old timey movie, skips some recorded dialogue, is about two minutes in lenght, when it shows Sandy doing the stunts and when instead of saying "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy Unite!" Mermaid Man says "'Mermaid... "Click!" "Manicleboy Unite!" . However, Mermaid Man is glad that SpongeBob proved he and Barnacle Boy had "action" left in their old bones.

==Plot==
SpongeBob and Squidward are getting really hot at the [[Krusty Krab]], so [[Mr. Krabs]] takes them to the beach to sell Krabby Patties. There, they find Sandy and Patrick. When Patrick wants to buy a Krabby Patty, Patrick gets on and the surfboard tips and flings SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs all to different places. Mr. Krabs is in ''The Dutchman's Triangle'', Sandy is on an island; so are SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward, but they're on different islands. SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward meet 5 people and they tell them that the only way back to Bikini Bottom is to surf there. SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward swim to JKL learn how to surf to get back to Bikini Bottom. JKL tells them just to keep breathing. Then, they learn how to surf and then the Big One, a perfect wave formed by the certain alignment of the planets, comes. SpongeBob gets them back to Bikini Bottom and everyone throws them a party.

==Plot==
The Krusty Krab celebrates its 117th anniversary, and Mr. Krabs plans to sell lots of Krabby Patties. But SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs accidentally get locked in the freezer before they have a chance to celebrate. While finding their way through air shafts, they look back at some memorable moments in their lives and tell each other shocking reveals. Meanwhile, Plankton finally finds the perfect opportunity to steal the Krabby Patty formula!
