Mrs. Puff's Vegetable Garden just appears in the episode Growth Spout. In that episode, Mr. Krabs looks for lots and lots of food for Pearl, who has her growth spurt. Then Mr. Krabs steals food from Mrs. Puff. He then spots lots of peanuts, but it turns out that they are Peanut Worms. The worms squirt gooey liquid into his face. There aren't lots of vegetables in this garden. The vegetable garden is very important for Mrs. Puff, because she even talks about it in her sleep. The garden itself, has a fence around it.
