The Ugly Barnacle is a story that Patrick told to SpongeBob in Something Smells to cheer him up about being "ugly."
Story
This is the story that was told by Patrick in SpongeBob's Library:
"Once there was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died. The End!"
This story was meant to cheer up Spongebob, but clearly had the opposite effect.
