Rusty Krab

The Rusty Krab was a retirement home in Bikini Bottom, which was later bought in 1965 by Eugene H. Krabs, who turned it into the Krusty Krab. The Rusty Krab was only seen in Krusty Krab Training Video. Ever since The Rusty Krab was converted into the Krusty Krab, Shady Shoals has been the only known rest home in Bikini Bottom.
Looks
The Rusty Krab looks no different than the Krusty Krab (besides the fact it has no "K" in the sign and later on it was painted there by Mr. Krabs), but it possibly looks different from the inside since it’s a retirement home.
Trivia
- In Grandpappy the Pirate, Mr. Krabs says that the Krusty Krab used to be a boat, and that it was always called the Krusty Krab, but in "Krusty Krab Training Video," the narrator says that the Krusty Krab used to be a retirement home. This is a plothole.
- Even when it was a retirement home, it still had that little picture of a hamburger in the window.
