Airplanes are a type of aircraft that appear in a few episodes.

"The Sponge Who Could Fly"

In The Sponge Who Could Fly, SpongeBob SquarePants tries to fly an airplane in one of his failed attempts to fly with the jellyfish.

"Snail Mail"

In Snail Mail, some airplanes are seen at the Bikini Bottom Air Show. SpongeBob flies a plane with Patrick Star during the episode’s climax.

"Plane to Sea"

In Plane to Sea, a jumbo jet-type airplane is used to fly to Bora Bora Bottom. It has a cockpit, passenger cabins and a bathroom. The plane is flown by a pilot and co-pilot who sit at the controls in the cockpit; both are eventually sucked out of the plane. The passenger cabin contains seating for the passengers. There are also two flight attendants who get sucked out; there may be jumpseats for them since, in real-life, flight attendants have to be seated during takeoff and landing.

Vehicles
