The picture that Squidward used to "make up" the Boxing Begonia

The Boxing Begonia is a begonia flower that appears in the episode Scavenger Pants. Squidward tells SpongeBob and Patrick to find it out of belief that they won’t do so, not realizing that the flower is a real flower that can beat people up. The flower, according to Squidward, "only grows in the deepest canyon of the Mariana Trench."

[edit] Looks

It resembles a regular begonia flower.

[edit] Role in episode

After the "Desert Sandwich," which turned out to be a Sand Witch, was found, Squidward tries to think of a new item for SpongeBob and Patrick to find. Using a picture of a begonia flower on his wall as inspiration, he suggests that they find the Boxing Begonia and bring it to him. He claims that the flower "only grows in the deepest canyon of the Mariaina Trench" and is therefore rare. SpongeBob and Patrick promptly head to the Mariana Trench; there, SpongeBob uses a rope that’s not long enough to enter the trench’s deepest canyon. Patrick throws the rope down, and he and SpongeBob fall into the canyon. They return to Squidward’s house with the Boxing Begonia, proving that the flower is real. Amazed by its beauty, Squidward fails to notice that the Boxing Begonia can indeed fight. The flower then comes to life and beats up Squidward with boxing gloves.
