Leif Erikson day is a made up day created by Spongebob Squarepants. The show claims that Leif Erikson day is a fake (not real).
When This Occured
The words Leif Erikson day came up while Spongebob was having a conversation with his neighbourhood resident: Squidward Tenticles. Squidward denies this and just ignores what he says with a sigh of disbelief.
