[edit] Trivia

  • The version of the theme song performed by Avril Lavigne was later featured in Square Roots: The Story of SpongeBob SquarePants.
  • "Now That We’re Men" borrows it’s melody from "Fight! Fight! Fight! A" from the Associated Production Music album Marching Bands USA. The melody was originally used in The Great Snail Race.
  • "The Best Day Ever" was later featured in an episode of the same name.
  • "Goofy Goober Rock" is a version of the Twisted Sister song "I Wanna Rock" made for the film.
  • In the movie "Goofy Goober Rock" features a small part with SpongeBob scatting. This is from the David Lee Roth song "Just a Gigolo/I Ain’t Got Nobody" and isn’t included on this album.
  • When "Goofy Goober Rock" plays in the movie, SpongeBob says "No, no, freakin’ way!", but on the album he says "No, no, no, no way!"
  • The fictional name of The Jellyfish Band originated on a SpongeBob poster.
  • A Target exclusive edition of this CD included "Employee of the Month" as a bonus track. The song was later featured on the album SpongeBob SquarePants: The Best Day Ever.
