Dennis is an assassin hired by Plankton in the The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. He is one of the movie’s main antagonists, other than Plankton.

Dennis was a assassin who was hired by Sheldon J. Plankton to kill SpongeBob and Patrick, the reason being that Plankton stole King Neptune’s crown and tricked King Neptune into believing the crime was committed by Eugene H. Krabs, so King Neptune threatened to execute Mr. Krabs (via burning by fire) unless the crown was to be retrieved within 6 days; Plankton wanted Mr. Krabs to die of a painful and wrongful execution, and upon learning SpongeBob and Patrick’s journey to get the crown back, he sent Dennis to stop them before they reached Shell City.
