The "Bikini Bottom Public Access Presents" card

Bikini Bottom Public Access (BBPA) is the public access television channel of Bikini Bottom, seen only in Tentacle-Vision. The only known programs are Fab and Fancy, The Guitar Lord, Squidward Chat, and Squidward’s House Party. It may have other shows.

Programming Cards

Shows that are broadcast typically begin with a "Bikini Bottom Public Access Presents" card, as pictured to the right. On it, the words "Bikini Bottom PUBLiC ACCESS PRESENTS" appear on a light blue background with some white "waves." Two turquoise-ish rectangles surround "Bikini Bottom," while two light green rectangles surround "PUBLiC," two darker green rectangles surround "ACCESS" and two orange rectangles surround "PRESENTS," which is smaller than the rest of the text. The rectangles are almost-evenly sized to match the size of each word. The network’s announcer reads the onscreen text over a synthesized tune. This is known to precede Fab and Fancy and Squidward Chat.

Before programming, BBPA would show a yellow card with a hourglass and the words "OUR PROGRAMMING WILL BEGIN SHORTLY." The announcer reads out the text while a short tune with ticking sounds plays.
