Plots

"SpongeGod"

At the Krusty Krab, Patrick asks SpongeBob what he would do if he were a god. In song, SpongeBob explains what he would do:

• "Give free Krabby Patties to everyone in Bikini Bottom," much to the dismay of Mr. Krabs ("Not FREE!").
• "Turn any frown, like Squidward’s, upside down."
• "Change toxic waste into ice cream."

Afterwards, SpongeBob asks what Patrick would do if he were a god, to which Patrick replies "Ditto."

"The Story of King Neptune"

SpongeBob tells what appears to be King Neptune’s origin story thusly:

"When King Neptune was a little Neptune, his mother sent him adrift in a river. As he floated along, a giant meteor fell on Earth. An alien appeared, and inflicted the baby with Super Neptune Fluid. By the time he was in school, he had already begun exhibiting signs of super-duperness. As an adult, he would fly through the sea, helping people, and getting snails off of sea-trees."

Before SpongeBob can finish, Patrick asks if he’s really telling the story of King Neptune. At this point, it’s revealed that SpongeBob was reading from a comic book.
