The Blue Crested Blaster is a rare kind of jellyfish that SpongeBob and Patrick saw in the episode: The Pink Purloiner. Like No Name, it is blue. In that episode, they migrated into Jellyfish Fields.

- There is also a different breed of the Blue Crested Blaster, Green Crested Blaster, seen when the dozens of rare jellyfish flock to SpongeBob and Patrick. Plus a light green one is seen.
- The Blue-Crested Blaster may be a parody of the Blue-Crested Sparrow.
