• Fort Lox is a play on Fort Knox. Fort Lox is actually just the Patty Vault, while fort knox stores Pure gold.
• SpongeBob makes a small cameo in the film.
• When the movie ends, the only ones that seem to like it are SpongeBob, Patrick, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. The other people in the audience don’t look very excited.
• The movie just seems like a slightly longer version of The New Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy episode.
